Fun & unique way to camp!

Covered Wagon

This was such a fun & unique way to camp! The wagon is very spacious and tall enough for my 6'3" husband to walk around in! There were 2 cots and 2 twin mattresses on bedframes. They also had a table and 2 chairs. The bathrooms (real plumbing!) were very close to the covered wagon and they were very clean! We were here in March and the overnight temps were in the low 40s. It was definitely cold and I wouldn't recommend going until it's a bit warmer overnight! During the day it was very comfortable though! The campsite is very close to downtown French Lick and we were able to stop for a coffee and a view of the hotels on our way out of town!

Camper Site

Met some friendly campers and the owner was pleasant. One thing I can suggest is that the camp could use a better map (kinda blurry) to mark trails, levels of difficulty, and the various points of interest on the property. This is not a big deal, but I think it would help. Our expectations were met and we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and relaxing

Camper Site

It was great using our pop up at sleeping bear's. The property is well maintained and quiet. I do wish some of the Halloween things weren't out all year round on the paths and what not, but I understand and it didn't hinder our experience. My son loved the scary Halloween things but my daughter (4) wasn't a big fan. We will be back again for another stay in years to come. Thank you again!

Great Getaway

From the moment we drove into Sleeping Bear Resort we could feel the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was set up for us to have an enjoyable weekend away as a family. Additionally it was nice to be only 10 minutes from French Lick.
