I needed a place to stay between two backpacking trips. This was perfect because it was quiet but had everything one could need. I wanted a cabin because I figured I was sleeping in my tent both before and after this break from hiking. The bathroom had a nice shelf so that there was a place to put your clothes while showering. This is an often overlooked detail that is really helpful. There was also an electrical outlet near the bed and a bedside table, so it was easy to keep my phone charged but close by. That’s another often overlooked detail. I thought I’d probably have to use my sleeping bag and towel, but linens, blankets, pillow, and towels are all provided. Also I was pleasantly surprised to find an air conditioner because the first night of my stay was after a brutally hot day. Turning the air conditioner on for a brief period cooled everything down to make the interior pleasant. Although I did not use it, there’s a grill for cooking outside.
