A fantastic campsite for groups! Chris was incredibly helpful, even providing us with a table when we didn't have one. The BBQ on coals was amazing, making our stay even better. Thank you for the great memories!

Secluded Paradise In In Barry’s Bay

Tucked away in the heart of Ontario lies a hidden gem that delivers an unparalleled camping experience: the Barry Bay Campsite. This expansive retreat is not just a campsite but a portal to an enchanting wilderness, offering a real camping adventure down a winding road that leads to a private forest enclave. Spanning several acres, the clearing is nestled within nearly 100 acres of secluded forest, making it an idyllic escape for nature lovers.
From the moment we arrived, the campsite promised a unique blend of seclusion and comfort. Accommodating our group of 10 friends with ease, the site was perfect for our two teardrop trailers and circle tents. What struck me immediately was the meticulous upkeep of the place—the camping area was the cleanest I have ever seen. The site was thoughtfully cleared, providing an open sky for stargazing, yet dotted with enough shade to offer refuge from the afternoon sun.
The location of Barry Bay Campsite is unbeatably convenient, lying just 15 minutes from town. Our visit to Will's, with its authentic Polish cuisine and live music on Fridays, was delightful—though be sure to book ahead! We also explored other local flavors, including the farm-to-table delights at Balmoral and various burger joints and ice cream trucks, which added a quaint charm to our rustic getaway.
