A brief five-eight minute row, rowboat provided, leads you to a secluded, off-grid delightful campsite equipped with all the supplies you'll need for a weekend or week of camping. This private oasis includes a solar panel to charge devices, solar lights to illuminate your path, a screened-in kitchen tent with a camp stove and cooler, two picnic tables, dishes and cooking utensils, a food storage shed, two fire rings (one by the shore and the other at the top for cooking), a freshly painted outhouse, and the pièce de résistance – a beautiful large Bell tent with double bed. Activities abound, from swimming, and fishing to yoga on the platform by the water and boating. Make sure to bring water shoes as the shoreline is a bit rocky and your own fishing tackle if you want to catch a sweet bass. A canoe, paddleboat, and rowboat are at available at your leisure. Cook over an open fire, relax in a hammock, read a book, and truly slow down. The spacious Bell tent comfortably sleeps four, and there is also an easy-to-set-up smaller tents that can be arranged in the grassy glade at the top of the hill or overlooking the lake. Tent
We loved our stay on Sandra’s land! Our site was very private, with a breathtaking view of Lake Swaugers. We brought our own tent, but they had one for use and had every else we needed. Pristine and peaceful, we cant wait to return.

Amazing place
With pets
A bit of work paddling across the lake with my 100+ lb dog trying to check out the paddle I was using. Well worth it. My dog loved running free around the land and waterfront. It rained half of one of the days I was there, I tried to keep my dog only on the blankets I brought as well as keep his paws wiped when we were in the tent. Everything was just as described if not above and beyond and I hope my dog and I would be welcome back in the future Thank you for having me, my couple days were extremely relaxing for myself being away from all work and stress and the joy and excitement of my dog to just be free to run around was exactly what I was hoping for.

Camping with friends

We had a group of friends camp on Sandra's Hip Camp location. The row boat ride was about 5 mins away from the dock. Parking was easy, paddle was easy but I was just a passenger 😄 Sandra has thought of everything. The solar lights marking the trail were great for night time. We didn't need the bug tent but it was great to have it when we got rain. The outhouse was clean and stocked with tp. It was the perfect escape from the city. Swimming all day and watching the stars at night off the dock were just some of our favorite parts.

Absolutely magical location
From the moment you arrive, the world melts away. The yurt is clean and organized, the bed is comfy, and even the yoga frog keeps you company while in the hammock. I definitely recommend taking the paddleboat for a tour of the lake, so calm! Literally just need food and clothes, this excellent host has thought of everything else. Thank you for sharing your spot!

This was the perfect get away. So quiet and serene. A beautiful little lake for a long, safe swim because there are no motor boats. A south facing dock for a day of swimming, lounging in the sun and reading. All the joys of camping with minimal effort because it’s already all set up for you. Just add food, water and firewood and you are ready! You do need to do a bit of heavy lifting to get the boat in the water and loaded up but the row is mere minutes away. Once you’ve hiked your goods up the hill to the site you are good to go! *there’s a little wagon to help with that. It was a wonderful experience.

What an amazing place! My wife and I spent a week at 7 Sisters and we absolutely loved it. Sandra is an amazing host and we loved to learn about her and the property. The tent was impeccable, and all facilities (kitchen, outhouse, deck, electronics charging station, overnight food storage) made our life much easier. We spent 5 days at 7 sisters and time went by so fast! We will absolutely return.
