Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
We are sharing our property with guests who have good reviews and are invited to the property. Our strict rules about --NO FIRES-- is strictly in effect all summer long. We do provide some outdoor propane firepits which work great for heat and marshmallows !! We love our property close to the lake and the great grasslands, and also love to share it with responsible groups for camping. Please note that we are only sharing our property and that this is not a full-time campground or RV park with any specific layout. There are no services offered, other than a Bathroom which is serviced regularly. Come camp with us, we look forward to hosting you and your friends/family.Safe camping under the stars in High Oregon Desert country. 5 Acre Property is located about  3 miles from public boat launch and is ideal Home Base for all of your summer water activities and fun. In addition to the Lake activities, we are also located within a  very short walk to hundreds of acres of Public Grasslands and BLM perfect for hiking, bird watching, and a pure outdoors experience.  There is very easy access on fully paved Jordan Road and about 200 yards on a fairly well maintained dirt road easily accessible by any small or large vehicle of any type.   There is a wide gravel driveway going into the property ending in a large turn-around area around a large Juniper tree. Lots of properties like this are very hard to get to having to navigate through rocky BLM (Bureau of Land Management) roads which require 4-wheel drive and high centered vehicles. Our property is very easy to access with any type of vehicle, including low sports cars. Once on the property, we will find a suitable, safe, and comfortable spot for you to set up your, tent, RV, trailer, boat, etc...  There is a locked gate at night with fencing in front side of property.   There is a portable toilet that we share with our guests and it is maintained professionally on weekly basis.  Please contact us for more details.  This is NOT a "Commercial Campground" with "Developed" assigned campsites.  There are there are also no services offered.  Our intention is to simply share our property with invited guests with good reviews who will respect our property and the surroundings.  We will be on the property during your stay and will have rules which we will share with you once you are booked.

What a lovely host! Our host made sure we had everything we needed, he was friendly and helpful with recommendations of fun things to do. He even let us borrow a pan and lighter as we forgot ours. The camp site is beautiful and close to lake billy, a small corner store and only 35 minutes from Madras. It’s the perfect camping oasis with lots to do near by. The porta potty was exceptionally clean, and is a nice addition to the campsite. Definitely would book again, and highly recommend!

Private and serene!
20 ft pop-up camper
The area was spacious and spread out, campers were not right on top of eachother. We never felt crowded nor like we were so close that our noise bothered other people. This isn't a fancy location, but the porta-jon was always clean and the property was exactly what we wanted. Extremely private!! The host, Fred, was super accomodating, always worried about your comfort and any needs you might have. Very reachable by phone and was a wealth of information about the area! Will definitely go back!

Amazing camp spot w/ great host!
Tent · With kids
Beautiful and quite area that is amazing for watching the stars. The site was very well maintained and clean with fun things around the grounds. Honestly the host/caretaker Fred was amazing person, especially as a host. He is very friendly, helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the best spots around. Could not ask for a better host/caretaker then Fred, he made the experience easy and safe with all his experience and knowledge. Great place to have a secluded campsite but still have access to a bathroom and the beautiful surroundings.

I was lucky and got the place to myself but can tell that even a full camp would have been awesome! Fred was a great host and hooked me up with a hammock, super relaxing camp!
