Grace Acres Scenic RV Camping provides rentable gravel sites to campers seeking a pastoral farm setting for their enjoyable stay in the Willamette Valley. The origin of this business adventure stems from Ed’s passion for plants, animals, and all things farming, to Paula’s passion for hospitality, home decor and all things beautiful, to their entire family’s joy when sharing their lovely property with others. These qualities, as well as impeccable grounds and expansive views of the charming countryside, will no doubt attract and retain happy campers.
The location is in farm country at the edge of the Cascade foothills between Mt. Angel and the Marquam area, with expansive views to the east of the Cascade Mountains all the way to the coastal mountains to the west. Magnificent sunrises and glorious sunsets, as well as the beautiful, fertile Willamette Valley countryside, will be appreciated by all Hip campers. As a result of being in farm country, you may hear irrigation guns occasionally operating during the summer.
We're 30 minutes from Silver Falls and Champoeg State Park where there's scenic bikeways and trails. A few minutes from the Tulip Festival in the spring.
This campsite offers a serene and picturesque setting with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts, Paula and Ed, are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, adding to the welcoming environment. The facilities, including a clean and convenient bathroom, are well-maintained, providing comforts that enhance the camping experience. A few reviews note the gravel parking setup, which, while practical, might not be what some traditional tent campers expect, but the overall experience is positive with many visitors eager to return.
Nice to have a level and graveled place to overnight during all the heavy rains. Access to a big field which is a bonus as I travel with my dog. The indoor bathroom and a nice hot shower were welcomed after a long day of dog training and being outdoors all day. Will stay again when in the area.
At first glance it is just a big gravel parking lot. However, we were so glad we stayed, because the setting was absolutely lovely. We loved the open fields for our dog to run on, and the lovely manicured lawn right next to our site. Paula was very friendly, and the bathroom was totally charming - a very delightful surprise.
We were able to book all 6 sites over Labor Day weekend and camped with friends and family. This is a great location near stores if needed, but also very secluded with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The parking area is huge, we had plenty of rooms for games like Canjam, Cornhole and Badminton.
I had a few questions early on when I booked the sites and Paula quickly answered them. The hosts were fantastic! We will definitely look to stay here again as a group site!
Ed and Paula were very good hosts. Everything was clean, especially the shower/bathroom building. Wonderful views and several acres to roam and let our dogs run.
The only improvement I'd recommend would be to upgrade the electrical to 20 or 30 amp for RVs, so you can run the air conditioning without occasionally tripping the breaker. I know its a work in progress. But, it's a beautiful facility.
Thanks Ed and Paula, we had a great time.
