Family owned land for over 100 years and at that time it was planted in corn. On the property is a foundation that was said to be where one of the Youngers that rode with Jessie James lived in a shanty. Known as the “Younger Shanty”. Nearby attractions: wineries, state parks, Penns Cave, Penn State University, and great restaurants.Relax in the quiet setting of The-Evergreen-Lodge. Built in 2007 nestled among the pines, the lodge is a spacious 1,600 sq. foot log cabin which sits on 7 acres of woodland in Spring Mills, PA. The rustic lodge, custom crafted cabinets and hand carved furniture were all built by local craftsmen. This property has been family-owned, undisturbed private land for over 100 years.

Fresh maple syrup. Made naturally from the sap of old maple trees with a very high sugar content and located on our nearby farm. The sap is boiled until all the water evaporates and the sugars condense into a thickened syrup.

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

Group trip

I/we are repeat customers at this cabin. It is a wonderful place, far enough off the beaten path for peace and seclusion. Susan is always a wonderful and accommodating host. She has taken the time to make little notes and check lists so you know what is expected of you. That may sound trivial but I/we appreciate the little extra detail. The cabin is also located in close proximity all kinds of activities. We fish mainly, but there are hiking trails, a very large state park, national forest close by.

Group trip

This was our second time staying at The Evergreen Lodge and it was just as great as the first time! Everything we could need for our stay was supplied by Susan and made the weekend easy. The whole property has such a magical charm to it and our three young kids enjoyed it so much they didn’t want to leave! Will absolutely stay again and will probably make it an annual trip. Thanks Susan!

Perfect mountain stay!

This was the quintessential lodge experience! The cabin was perfect, with everything you could want, down to red checked tablecloths for the picnic tables. We enjoyed the campfire and woods, and also having a cozy, dry place for a rainy morning.

The Evergreen Lodge was such a perfect little getaway! Words can’t describe how wonderfully put together everything was! The beds were comfortable and the place had everything we needed! 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Dreamy Cabin Getaway

My friends and I had a wonderful relaxing time here. The cabin was extremely welcoming, cozy and very well equipped with everything we needed. All of the rules and instructions were thorough, and we especially loved all of the furniture, decorations, and overall ambiance that fulfilled our “weekend cabin getaway” dreams. I can’t wait to return.
