Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home in nature — including real toilets, showers, and kitchen.
REST and REFUEL with some outdoor therapy at our primitive glampsite. The peace and even healing that can occur from spending time in nature has hugely impacted our lives-- so much so that we wanted to create a space for others to enjoy as well. This cozy retreat is nestled into the woods overlooking our spring-fed pond on our 9.5 acre homestead. While the location is only minutes away from bike trails, walking paths by the river, and our local downtown restaurants/ shops, our unique space on our property makes you feel as though you have escaped into the mountains. We are thrilled for you to enjoy the beauty of our land. Enjoy kicking back around a cozy campfire in our fire pit on the deck, or follow the trail to the spring-fed pond for fishing, canoeing or swimming. We also have provided an eno hammock for your use! Here at our little homestead, surrounded by nature, come enjoy some time away in our clean and comfy vintage-style RV, affectionately named Thelma Lou. Nestled between the edge of our field and our barn, you’ll be far enough away from our home to enjoy some privacy and quiet ( except for maybe some clucks from our chickens nearby). Enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the sunrise over the hill or roast a marshmallow or two over the fire pit. We are grateful to share the beauty of our land with you. * RV is parked near our barn that only is used for storage currently. The only farm animals nearby are our few chickens — they are visible from the RV site.

Relaxing & Enjoyable RV
Great experience. This RV was clean and comfortable. You can tell that Jessie has put alot of care and love into making this RV a special place for her guests. Bed linens and clean towels are provided. I enjoyed sitting by the firepit and relaxing. The homeowners are far enough away that the RV feel private but they are just a phone call away if you need them. The homeowners were kind enough to come show me how to work the heat. The property is quiet and peaceful. I would certainly stay here again.

You have to stay here!
This spot is perfect for a weekend full of relaxing outdoors. I cannot recommend this site enough. The tent was spotless and they provided everything you may need for a weekend stay. We had a great time fishing, swinging in the hammock, and sitting around the fire. We left feeling recharged and thankful for this amazing stay!

Escape to hideaway nature retreat!
This is a beautiful little retreat that is close to anything, but lets you feel as though you've escaped as far away as you want. Jessie and her family thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need, from every comfy-cozy creature comfort to practical things like a first aid kit, bug spray, and a mini Bluetooth speaker - if you want to add some music to compliment the concert of nature you're delightfully immersed in. A hammock overlooks the trees and the spring-fed pond just below, and the natural wood fire pit makes for a wonderful peaceful evening. There's also a grill grate for cooking meals or making s'mores, and boiling water for making coffee with the provided French press. They have a couple farm dogs on the property (which I loved) but were very quick to offer to keep them away if I wanted. Instead, I very much enjoyed a visit from one of their sweet pups who came by to check on me. Having recently lost my sweet girl, this visit was an extra special treat. There isn't anything I could think of that Jessie didn't already have readily available. Their glamping oasis is truly a home away, that makes you feel right at home in peaceful, wonderful nature. Another special little touch they included is a visitors journal. It makes the place feel just a little bit more intimate for each guest to write and share little notes and messages about their stay and experiences. I've always enjoyed reading through those anywhere I find them. Don't miss this place!

Perfect Birthday Getaway 😁
I definitely enjoyed staying at this little slice of heaven!! It was my first glamping experience (I usually primitive camp but was treating myself for my bday) Very much enjoyed doing absolutely nothing but relaxing and listening to nature. Will for sure be back!!

I was traveling so my stay was very short. Everything was very comfortable and tidy. I could hear a few owls at night! That was my favorite part. I would definitely stay again.
