Spent Thanksgiving relaxing!
34 ft Class A ·
My son came with his camper and my sister and I came with my Class A. We had a great time and would come again if in the area. The entire place is spotless and well laid out. The property is designed with a county/horse theme. All the buildings are in wonderful shape with appropriate distance between visitors. And so relaxing to spend Thanksgiving just going for a walk and sitting on the swings.

Tent camping or R/V don’t matter the place is beautiful peaceful and very welcoming. The shower houses are amazing and as unique as the wagon. Host met us has we pulled in showed right to our spot informed us of location of things, very very nice place I would recommend it to anyone I know!! Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing place to stay!!

Our stay was ok. Peaceful and quiet but the host failed to mention that our level pad was directly behind a cabin. I feel like the listing was misleading because the pics do not show the cabins on their property. The cabin we were behind was vacant during our stay so no noise to deal with. Other than that, this is a good location if you plan on visiting the beach but don't want to stay close to the noise at night.

We loved our stay at Lories Conestoga Wagon. Just like in the pictures. Very clean and comfy. My kids can’t wait to tell their teachers about it. The gazebo with swings were lovely. We enjoyed a nice night roasting hot dogs and making smores. Would definitely recommend a stay here at the Rusty Spur.

Clean campground
I had a great time here. The site is very flat, spacious, and clean. The gazebo and fire ring is wonderful, with swing seats. The bathroom and laundry room is the best I have seen in any campground. There are plenty of trails for dogs, but they need to be leashed. Lorie’s site is not just a campground. There are cabins and horse riding also. The horses are not for the campers. It’s a separate business in which people who own their horses come here to stage their rides. The horse paddocks use life electric fences. So be careful with dogs. Overall it is a very tidy and clean place. I’d camp here again if in the area in the future.

The Rusty Spur is just lovely! It was very well decorated for Christmas. Neat and well taken care of. The hosts were friendly and kindly shared their pot and pan with us, since we forgot ours at home. They have horses. They have cabins and RV spots. All amenities. The large gazebo with swings and a fire pit in the middle is a hit! Very cozy. We recommend this farm.
