Serendipity Farmstead is a fully operational homestead farm/ranch, cultivating more variety than you could ever imagine. Our high tunnel extends the outdoor growing season from April to October, while the tropical greenhouse boasts oranges, bananas, guava, and much more. We employ organic and regenerative farming methods across all areas of the farm, where animals grow the plants and vice versa, creating a perfectly balanced operation. A stay at Serendipity Farmstead offers an immersive experience into the workings of a homestead farm. You'll have the opportunity to learn about the symbiotic systems between yaks, cows, and chickens, how pigs enrich the soil, our milking process, and how we utilize beneficial insects to manage pests without chemicals. Animal enthusiasts will delight in interacting with our yaks, cows, llamas, and donkey.Pitch you tent in "the park" where you have wonderful views and are just 50 feet from the bathhouse. Depending on the time of year, camping in the woods or in the pasture is possible as well. You are free to wander the farmstead out side of the fences; tours within fences and buildings are offered for $12 per person or $42 per family.

Wonderful Serendipity Farmstead
Tent
Serendipity Farmstead was a wonderful place to stop over. It is a working farm and the activities start early. Melissa and Scott were very friendly and accommodating, as well as very knowledgeable about regenerative agriculture. Their directions were clear and I had no trouble finding it even after dark. Be sure to go into town of Hot Springs to visit their restaurant, Two Cows Creamery for some delicious farm to table meals and delicious ice cream made from the milk from their cows. Also, Moccasin Hot Springs are exceptional.

Great place! Awesome farms and amazing views. Melissa and Scott are really nice hosts as well. If available, you can buy some of the meat and produce straight from the farm. Would really recommend to anyone interested in seeing how a farm operates and what living at one is like. They also own a restaurant in town (Two Cows) with amazing ice cream (made from their cows) and locally sourced dishes.

Beautiful spot! Loved waking up and seeing the yaks, llamas and other farm animals. Melissa and Scott were very nice, informative and helpful. I really admire their farming practices - it’s incredible what they are doing. We also ate 2x at their restaurant in town because it was so good! Highly recommend.
