Broken Banjo is a perfect getaway. The camp store was very convenient and even delivered our firewood. The bathrooms were close, clean, and warm. I highly recommend this spot. We will definitely come back and spend more time exploring everything Broken Banjo has to offer. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
I couldn't recommend this place more to beginner campers and those with small children! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We reserved a tent spot and enjoyed being able to have our toddler use the playground nearby. The showers were clean, the water was steamy, and the pressure was perfect. The wood we were able to buy was high quality and burned beautifully. There's also a Walmart only four minutes away if you forget to pack anything. I definitely see us coming back again soon.
The best part about Broken Banjo is the friendly, and helpful staff who made our stay very enjoyable. The facilities are great. Nice bathrooms, plenty of free activities for the kids, and a stocked store.
It's good to know that many of the activities are seasonal. I could not find information about this anywhere, I suggest calling their office to confirm. For Hipcampers the proximity to the Interstate may be a dealbreaker. Should be okay for an RV, but inside a fabric tent it gets very loud at night - I'd suggest a tent site in the back.
We absolutely loved staying at the Broken Banjo Campground in Manchester, TN. We tent camped under a covered tent spot (carport) it was very well lit and private. Gave us peace of mind in case it rained with our kids that the tent site was covered.we highly enjoyed the catch and release pond they have. The playground was excellent my kids had a blast! The life size chess game and trail hiking both were great experiences for us too!! We definitely will be marking this as a CAMPING FAVORITE and plan to come back here every year. Thank you so much for such an easy and welcoming time
