A small hillside farm thats been in the same family for over 100 years. The sugarwood's are a special spot on the farm, we have 500 taps and love making maple syrup. Let us know if you'd like to leave with some. Thanks for staying here with us, it's a special spot. This sugarwood campsite retreat in Waterbury has a bell tent pitched and ready for use, along with a full size mattress. The driveway is one minute from the sugarhouse, but the spot was picked out for your privacy! When you pull into the sugarhouse driveway you'll find signs to direct you to the tent site, 4 wheel drive highly recommended. There's a campfire site and bell tent awaiting you when you arrive, along with enamelware cooking utensils and a campfire grill set. Flameless candles and a comfortable full size mattress are equipped inside the tent, for all the VT cozy getaway feels. **5 minutes from waterworks hiking trails and the Mount Hunger trail head. 5 minutes to Waterbury Center Waterbury Reservoir entrance for swimming and paddling. 10 minutes to Perry Hill biking trails. 10 minutes to downtown Waterbury restaurants : Pro Pig, Hen of the Wood, The Reservior 15 minutes to Stowe. **there is a composting toilet on site. **fur babies welcome **can comfortably sleep 4 people.

The Summer of Woodard's Farm
With pets
What a weekend! The perfect place to camp out remotely while being centrally located to EVERYTHING! The site is safe and easy and convenient to find and base out of. The tent is massive (major plus for an additional air mattress and/or multiple sleeping pads) and cutely prepped and prepared for the stay. The firepit cooking setup was awesome and the fact that Suzanne brought water reserves and dry wood out was just the icing on the cake! High recommendation for this once movie location! Follow the history and the survival of this Vermont farm through Suzanne at @woodardsfarm!
