One loft bedroom, huge bathroom with a walk in shower and a soaking bathtub, while looking at a gorgeous creek, 20 ft away. A hot tub sits on the rear ground level deck. Kitchen with two coffee makers, microwave, full size refridge stovetop, air fryer, toaster oven and a kettle. This yurt is great for a couple or a couple with a small child, I provide a blowup mattress, twin size with linens.. The yurt faces the creek, and a rock wall on the other side making this property very private except for our cabin on the same property. It is fenced with split rail fencing and has a solar powered gate, with a gate fob provided. We are dog friendly, with a $25 pet fee per stay. This is a safe, beautiful area to visit nearby Floyd, a nearby kayak rental shuttle service, breweries, a meadery 2 miles away, and many other unique finds. Beautiful Mountain View’s and backwoods drive. A unique wool farm is just down the dirt road with a cash only roadside stand.The Riverside yurt sits thirty feet from the river bank at low water and the river has been just down below the high deck, At high water. We are located twenty minutes from the must see, Floyd, Virginia! It’s just a fun, hippie town. We offer a side by side for an additional fee if you are interested. There is a local canoe/ kayak rental/shuttle business, a meadery two and a half miles away, several breweries, distilleries and wineries. The Blue Ridge Parkway is ten minutes away. Come enjoy trout fishing in the stocked waters, sitting and wading in this cold mountain water, and our drive is motorcycle safe. Our cabin is on the same fenced property but there’s a good space between and total privacy on the rear deck of the yurt. We have a generator at the yurt, two wells with great quality drinking water, fruit trees, and a solar powered entrance gate with a provided fob.

The yurt was super well outfitted, with basically everything you could need! I loved resting in the hammock by the creek. Our stay was lovely and Jodee was quick to answer any questions we had.

Fantastic vibes!

JoDee was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a Gorgeous area with peaceful wildlife, a babbling river, and breathtaking views. The yurt was cute and cozy. Plan on going agian soon.

This was my first time ever using hipcamp and I could not have chosen a better place. Jodee was a wonderful host, and the yurt was indeed magical! It was so cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We built a fire one night in the fire pit with the firewood that was provided. We also drove the buggy down some lovely trails and saw so many deer! I would absolutely stay here again, and have already told a friend about it who is interested after seeing the pictures from our trip. Can’t say enough good things about this place and Jodee!

This place is so beautiful! It’s a very private place to stay and the host is wonderful. She was very responsive and nice to talk with. The campfire was well maintained and stocked with what you would need. The hot tub was perfect and great to be in on a cold fall night. All the other amenities were in well working order and kept us cosy. You can’t go wrong with this place. Very relaxing and easy going.

Magical Yurt

Truly an amazing trip with serenity abounding! The yurt itself was inviting, extremely clean and beyond cozy. Jodee is an exceptional host who communicated with a focused attention to detail to ensure we had a magical experience! She was quickly responsive to our questions throughout our stay and provided excellent recommendations to enhance our trip! The amenities allowed us the opportunity to relax by the water, soak in the hot tub under the stars, watch the deer in the field in the mornings and explore the surroundings with the side by side. The yurt is well stocked with kitchen, bath and laundry supplies. We loved the fire pit and falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the gentle water. Our entire trip exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return to make more magical memories!! Thank you Jodee!!!!
