We transform suburbia in a delicious piece of permaculture with the help of an amazing "farmily." As one visitor mentioned, "this place is like a cultural exchange program without leaving the country!" As devoted homesteaders, we have friends of all ages helping on the farm, and a lot of friendly animals from goats to ducks to ponies. Pitch your tent in our beloved forest and stroll the trails through our four acres of woods or on nearby state trails. Say hello to the goats, chickens, ponies, and rabbits. Outdoor sink and shower have hot and cold water. Enjoy our living, breathing forest. Our beautiful yurt means that you can sleep on benches around the campfire and never have to pack up a wet tent. You'll have access to a toilet, shower, and potable water.Pitch your tent in our beloved forest and stroll the trails through our four acres of woods or on nearby state trails. As in years past, our time at the farm and in the forest was so deeply special! The farm tour brought such joy to the kids, and to the adults as well. Alexia is always a warm and welcoming host. The forest was serene and magical. Hawthorn Farm is a true gem!

This is a beautiful spot that we’ve visited a few times now. It’s a wonderful mix of farm life with a spacious and magical wooded camping area. We’re very lucky to have this spot so close to the city. My teenage kids love it here.

Such a cute little farm and forest they have. You could tell the amount of energy and effort that was put into this place. The forest with the story telling hurt was so magical. It feels like you’re in Narnia. We met both Alexia and her husband, super nice people. If we’re ever passing through this area I would definitely stay here again and leave more time to hang out in the forest.

Utopia in Woodinville

What a magical experience to camp out and stay at Hawthorne Farm. We came from Boise to go to a concert in Woodinville and was lucky to find this place. We just knew we wanted to camp out instead of a hotel. Sooo grateful we did. Our hostess Jenny was an absolute delight. The farm and woods are so peaceful and so was Jenny. She was so kind and gave us a tour of the farm. We got to watch her feed the horses, donkeys, goats, chickens and the amazing ducks. All so unexpected and wonderful. We also got to buy their amazing chicken and duck eggs. There are not enough words to describe the forest where we camped. Let’s just say if fairies and lightning bugs showed up it wouldn’t have been a surprise. Incredibly beautiful forest and maintained beautifully. The most peaceful place I have ever camped. We can’t wait to book again and come visit Farm, Forest, Happy Place and of course Jenny. Til next time and thank you Jenny from Boise
