This property was owned by an Italian family who came to Australia in the 30's. We bought the house in Aug 2021 and fell instantly in love with it and all its quirkiness. The original cottage is still on site and is a long term renovation project for us, it may be old but holds lots and lots of history behind them walls.
The verandah area is yours to use, if you wish, for a bit of extra room to escape the rain or provide a bit of shade (depending on season) it has a powerpoint and light for your convenience.
Unfortunately, as there are building works happening at the back of the cottage we have closed access to the toilet area for your safety at this time.2025 Please check Wikicamps or contact me for updated calender, A private property on two acres , full of trees and birds. We are situated close to a local shop if you need supplies, the town centre and beaches are 7 minutes away if you want to swim or partake in any watersports.
You will need your own toilet and shower but there is drinking water, electric , a picnic table and rubbish facilities.
Outside of fireban season you're welcome to warm your toes around the campfire.
There is plenty of shade on site and a verandah outside the original cottage built in 1932 which is nice and shady if you want to just sit and relax or cook there.

Lovely shady place to stay not far from town. Appreciate the little gestures of fresh eggs and mango during our stay. Wonderful hosts.

We loved our stay. Kids had the best time with the chickens and dogs. Thank you for the friendly welcome and atmosphere. We will be back.

There was plenty of room for any size of rig. The host's were very welcoming. Easy access to power and water. Convenient location to access Geraldton for shopping and service.
