There are no amenities and guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower, a chemical toilet is a must. Maximum of 3 caravans or camper trailers but only one booking at a time so you will have plenty of space and privacy. This is a residential house size bush block with neighbours. Close to the beach where you can enjoy some fishing and beautiful sunsets. We are also 5 minutes from the Dundee boat ramp if you want to experience some offshore fishing. We have a fire pit available for guests to enjoy in the evenings. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. BYO firewood. Pets welcome! Children 12 and under are free. We have 7 acres of beautiful Paperbark Forest often teeming with butterflies we recommend wondering through. Lots of visiting wildlife too, including wallabies and birdlife aplenty. In the neighbouring paddock is our two resident Water Buffalo, a very friendly mother and daughter pair. You're welcome to feed them carrots over the fence - they'll love you for it! Campers will have access to a shower and compost toilet (located in the self-contained cabin - which will not be occupied while we have campers here). The property is 40 minutes to Darwin city, just off the Stuart Hwy, and ideally located to be your base camp whilst you head out on day trips to the National Parks, popular tourist spot, Berry Springs Nature Park, Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Adelaide River, Noonamah tavern, and more. The top 2 acres are laid out in a tropical garden setting, with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. You'll feel like you're a whole world away yet you will only be 2 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from a large shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Darwin's CBD. We are a small boutique site and only have currently 3 sites on the 5 acres. Your site is private and you will be able to enjoy your stay without interference from others. IMPORTANT: Each site can accommodate 2 adults MAX. If you have 3 or 4 adults, you will need to book both sites. Please note Pool site is open all year round and has permanent cover.
