There is no direct access to the lake, but there are many lakes and beaches within a short drive. There are also many quaint towns to visit, beautiful hiking trails to explore all nearby. The main floor has a pull-out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, ideal for kids. The bathroom facility is a newly built very airy eco-outhouse - you will be pleasantly surprised! There is a sink to wash up, and an outdoor shower, but for now, only cold water is available. This an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway, I look forward to hosting you!

Almost BackCountry Camping

Camping on the Megnetawan River on an 87 acre forested property. This is a boat in / canoe in only campsite. Launch your boat or canoe at the Little Doe Lake boat ramp located at the mouth of the Magnetawan river and paddle your way to the campsite, which is approximately 4 to 5 kms downstream of the boat launch. The campsite is similar to backcountry campsites where you need to bring everything you need, including drinking water, with you. There is an open air treasure chest aka a Thunder Box, a fire pit, camp chairs, a small table for your cook stove and lots of space for your tents!
