Bald Eagle Point

St. Vrain State Park has a few lovely campgrounds to choose from, including Bald Eagle Point. The sites are gigantic, so you can pull your RV through with ease, or pop your tent with plenty of room to spare. Some of the sites even have prime lakefront land with views of the mountains (try to reserve sites 47, 49, 51, 53, 55, or 56 to get the most epic scenery.) There are small lakes dotted all over the park, though, so you’ll never be far from water. If you plan on visiting during the summer, you’re gonna want to make a reservation. The campground fills up pretty dang fast during peak season, and it’s easy to see why--between the impressive views of the Rocky Mountains, the diverse wildlife, and everything else this place has going on, it’s no surprise things get packed.
