Loved this cabin! Was a great way to get away from LA and spend some quality time with my girlfriend! It’s really private and has great scenery. We also went to a cool little park nearby.

My adult daughter and I do an annual camping trip and it never fails; we always experience crazy weather. The weather apps can 'guarantee' sunny skies in Julian and it snows. So, of course when it said the weather would be mild when we headed to Laura's site, it poured! Thank goodness for Laura's set up! What could have proven to be a dreary, wet 2 days, turned out to be a relaxing and fun trip! The outdoor kitchen saved the weekend! We were able to sit by the outdoor fire pit and stay under the covered kitchen to cook steaks, have some wine and chat! We listened to the calming stream and pondered the numerous frogs in the area. There are crayfish in her stream, which we found fascinating! (That's when you know you're relaxed! Lol). We will be back!

Laura was amazing! Very sweet. We loved how green everything was. We camped by the creek. It was beautiful. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you!

Camping in the Honeycomb Cabin was super fun! Really great space and the outdoor kitchen was perfect for prepping meals. Really kind and helpful host :)

The site is near a creek and frogs croaking throughout the night was so enjoyable as the croaking drowned out the constant traffic noise. It's a pretty space and the outdoor kitchen is usable and basic. I don't recommend trying to cook there though. Better bring your own meals. The bathroom and shower were clean and nice. I did not meet the host but she was responsive to all my questions. Thank you!

Beautiful, clean property with a creek running through it. I came to San Diego for a concert and decided to make a few days out of it. I happened to have chose the rainiest weathered days possible, so I was the only camper at the property! The host was extremely communicative, and warned me about the creek crossing flow becoming quite a bit larger in the rain. My 4x4 tall van had no problem crossing, but the flow did get much higher than it was without the rain. On a normal day a car could cross no problem. This property is in the middle of a neighborhood, so there was a bit of road noise. But the vegetation made it feel like you were in the forest and the frogs drowned out the sound of the cars. I was happy to have a safe spot to sleep in the van not too far from San Diego. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent quiet sanctuary to rest of the night or a weekend. I stayed at the Waterfall campsite, and got to listen to the beautiful sounds of a babbling creek and frogs all night. The area has great star gazing, a shared kitchen, and restroom with a shower.

Just the little hide out I needed to escape LA for a couple of nights. The bed was comfy, so many pillows! The creek, the frogs, the birds and the hammock ❤️

It was an absolutely beautiful location with a wonderful bathroom and great outdoor kitchen area. I had space to set up my telescope and enjoy the night sky without any light interruptions not only that there is also a rich bird population you could watch for hours. Would love to stay again in the future.

It’s a lovely spot. Creek runs the length of the property. Clean, well lit bathroom. Nice outdoor cooking area with some supplies, a fridge. One site has a cute cabin. Wife & I were very happy with site & accommodations. Multiple table & chairs sets across the different sites. Home owners was friendly.

Laura is a kind and responsive host who very much so cares both about her guests and her property. She was happy to share ideas about where to go for hiking and wine tasting. Her property has a nice, well stocked outdoor kitchen that my husband and I fell in love with - we actually are now inspired to build our own - and a bathroom with a shower that puts out plenty of hot water which is a real treat when one is car camping. My husband and I also enjoyed her large fire pit. The property has trees, a stream, a cute cabin and a few tent sites all with tables and umbrellas. There is traffic but the property is both well hidden and far enough away from the road to give one a sense of seclusion. And there's also owls who every evening that my husband and I were there had nightly conversations with one another and there's also a hawk that hangs around during the day. Laura has put a lot of time and effort to create a relaxing little gem that I'm very happy to have found.
