Standiford Goat and Equine Ranch

7 sites · RVs51 acres · Larkspur, CO
Our family-owned noncommercial ranch/campground is nestled against the Raspberry Butte hillside and near the Front Range Mountains on the West side of Highway I-25. It is 51 acres of rolling hills, Ponderosa Pine, and Douglas Fir Trees. Our property extends halfway up Raspberry Butte therefore there are lots of large rocks on our property. It is a working ranch with several horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. WE ARE EXPECTING BABY GOATS AND A FOAL IN APRIL 2024. It is our goal to constantly work towards improving our property. On our property you will see an enclosure with Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, and two donkeys. You can enter the enclosure by appointment only. Our eight-stall barn is where we feed our horses and raise our baby goats, chicks, and foals. We offer our hip campers an opportunity to learn how to care for our animals; horseback rides in a round pen; and a dump station. Just sign up at the time you book your stay under EXTRAS. Thirty acres of our property are fenced for the horses and located directly behind the campsites. In addition, we have lots of wildlife including but not limited to: Deer, Elk, Coyotes, Bobcats, Wild Turkeys, Mountain Lions, Snakes, and Bears. We are approximately 2 miles from the town of Larkspur between Spruce Mountain Road and Perry Park Road. (Please note Google Maps will try and send you to a location on Perry Park Road which is incorrect. Please refer to the map located on this website.) Due to our remote location, we have spotty Wifi. Typically ATT, Starlink, and TMobile work best. Verizon reception can be located at certain spots around our ranch. There are three restaurants located in the town of Larkspur including pizza, Mexican food, and a pub. There is also a large park with lots of kids' play equipment. During the summer there are concerts at the park on the weekends. We are approximately 2 miles from the Colorado Renaissance Festival located in Larkspur. The Renaissance Festival typically runs between June and July. We are 10 miles from the town of Palmer Lake which has fishing, kayaking, and several restaurants. Spruce Mountain hiking trails are 2-3 miles away. We are approximately 40 miles north of Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, and Manitou Springs. We are approximately 40 miles south of Denver and all of its attractions. Campers will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability when camping with us. Neighborhood Campground

4 sites · RVs1 acre · Lafayette, CO
This suburban campground is conveniently located along US 287 close to Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Erie, and Louisville. The neighborhood is a quiet and charming area with the feel of a much more rural area. Each campsite features a flat turf pad camp area to set up table, chairs, etc and plenty of room to pull in your car, van, or other camping vehicle. We offer an on site toilet (port-a-potty), standard 110 (20 amp) electrical plugs at each site. Please note that this is a standard home outlet meant for things like charge phones. If your rig pulls more than 20 amps you are likely to trip the breaker. There is access to fresh, potable water on the property, but not at each site, so plan to fill your tanks at the spigot with a hose. Gated access with a complete fence provides privacy and security. Wi-Fi is available at the campground. Nearby Erie and Lafayette are within biking distance. This campground is located in a residential neighborhood and we ask that campers are respectful of noise levels. No fires permitted. There is a barn located on the property within the campsite. The campsite is located behind a residential home, but separated by a 6 foot privacy fence. WE DO NOT LIVE IN THE HOUSE, PLEASE DO NOT RING THE DOORBELL OR CONTACT THE TENANTS IN THIS HOME!

Rocky Mountain RV Retreat

1 site · RV1 acre · Ward, CO
Experience the elevated lifestyle at our charming campsite! Nestled in the back of our property, accessible via a horseshoe-shaped driveway, this dedicated camping spot awaits you. Please note that a 4WD/high clearance vehicle is essential for winter access. We have a nice long pull-in with full hookups on our one-acre property. It is fully fenced and we are happy to accept pets. We are in a rural neighborhood setting and my husband and I do live on the property in the small green house you can see in the photos. There are houses around; it's not a secluded wilderness spot. We've been RVing for seven years (two of them full-time) and hiking and camping for many more. We're happy to provide local recommendations or to help you out with your rig if you're new. WyndyRidge Prairie

2 sites · RVs, Tents60 acres · Simla, CO
In the 1990's a ranchland section (640 Acres) was divided into 60+ acre small prairie farm properties.. Purchasing this pristine, untouched land in early 2000, we built our farm style home in 2004. Living where there are more hawks and pronghorn than people, this quiet prairie setting is a delightful home. WyndyRidge is aptly named for the almost constant breeze. For traveling estimates, our property is 1 hour from Parker, CO; 1 hour from Castle Rock, CO; 1 hour from Bennet, CO; 1 1/2 hour from many destinations in Colorado Springs, CO.

Beautiful Mountains & Manomay Acres

1 site · RV2 acres · Golden, CO
We are located at 8000 feet (altitude sickness is a concern up here for some) in Golden Gate Canyon. The Canyon is just above Golden and is a 20 minute ride down the mountain to town center. Our property sits on 2 fenced acres along a quiet road in a horse community. There is ample uncovered parking. Our neighborhood includes the Ralph Schnell entrance to Centennial Cone Park. Here there are miles of trails to hike, trail ride and mountain bike. The park is just over a mile from the property. We are 20 minutes to Golden, 40-50 minutes to Denver, just over an hour to Loveland Ski Area, an hour and 40 minutes to Breckenridge. Golden Gate Canyon State Park and Eldora are between 15 minutes to just over an hour. Climbing, fishing, paddling, white-water rafting, and all things snow are nearby. If you like to golf, you cannot do much better than the Fossil Trace city course in Golden. It is open year round provided no snow on the ground. From either of the decks of the house, you can spot many different kinds of wildlife (if you’re fortunate). We have everything in the area, Coyotes, Moose, Elk, Deer, Fox, Big Cats, Bear, etc. There are binoculars for daytime viewing and a telescope for an amazing night sky completely clean of light pollution. During certain times of the year, The Big Dipper hangs over the hill behind our back deck. The back deck has a gas grill, gas firepit, and seating. Cornhole is available for relaxing fun. The front deck is best for the sunrise with your coffee as it is the warmest. The driveway is asphalt, “relatively” flat and easy to level your RV. Water and Electric are included. If you are coming in the winter, you will need AWD if there is snow or any chance of snow during your stay. It is a very winding, curvy, single lane, ride. Cell service depends on your carrier. ATT we have 5g, Verizon next to nothing.
