Lochloosa serves as a haven for wildlife and a peaceful retreat for humans alike. Whether you prefer birdwatching, tubing or kayaking down the river, fishing from the riverbank, or unwinding in our saltwater pool equipped with a slide and diving board, there's something for everyone. You can even relax at your campsite by the babbling creek and soak up the ZEN as you admire breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. For added adventure, we offer a limited number of tube and kayak trips. To secure your spot, please message us for more details or add this option to your reservation ahead of time. For those eager to explore the local area, nearby Lake Maxinkuckee Beach—one of Indiana's top-rated lakes—offers stunning views and activities. You can also stroll through the charming shops and restaurants of Culver or visit Lake Manitou to experience Rochester's vibrant culture, dining, and shopping scene. Whatever your plans, we're thrilled to share this little slice of camping paradise with you and hope you love it as much as we do! Campers have access to a shared indoor family/unisex restroom featuring two toilets and two showers. We kindly ask guests to review the rules and details for the specific campsite they book. Please note that pets are welcome exclusively in sites north of the creek, as our own pets and farm animals reside on the south side. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Lastly, if you need any essentials, a nearby country store just 2 miles away offers a variety of items, including chicken, pizza, ice, and more, to make your stay even more enjoyable. Old family farm. Quiet river side cabin. Deer, otter, turkey all frequently visit the area. Sit on the deck, build a fire, or just wet a line. The sounds of nature will be your night time lullaby. Far enough away but easy to get to. Come relax and spend some time at camp David. If you don't have fire wood we will provide you with some at $25 a 75 cb ft. Learn more about this land: Quiet place on the deck over looking the Tippecanoe River in Fulton County Indiana. Fish, float, or just watch the water flow. Easy access from the road and not far from town. Birds, otter, deer, and turkey will be around to checkout their new neighbors. It’s generator ready if you want lights or to charge your phone. Enjoy the outdoors and the peace and quiet. Sorry no beds. A blow up mattress is there to use if you like.

I become owner of this property in 2017. The cabins were built in the late 90's financed by the previous owner. The property was vacant for decades prior to that. In the 1950's, the property was a drive-in motel called the 'Harbert Motel'. We have an arial photo from this time period which showed a number of small bungalows for guests, each with its own carport. I love all the stories I hear from locals who have been around long enough to remember how things 'used to be'. Southwest Michigan has an interesting history and has been a 'destination' from city dwellers for close to 100 years. Even Al Capone and his goon's frequented the area as they moved illegal good during the days of prohibition. Learn more about this land: Breweries, Wineries, Berry Picking, Art Studios, Farmers Markets, hiking trails, biking trails, Lake Michigan boating, kayaking, fishing, canoeing.......all those things and more await you in Southwest Michigan. We have 6 'tiny house' style cabins on 1-acre property we call - Harbor Country Cabins. Harbor Country Cabins is located along the Lake Michigan Wine Trail. Our resort offers a unique lodging and gathering location in the center of Harbor Country, near Southwest Michigan’s premier destination for beaches, breweries, wineries, dining and summer fun. With 12 queen bunk and 4 twin bunk beds spaced across 6 cabins, our property can hold up to 28 people. Price in this listing is for rental of all 6 cabins.

There's a toilet facility near the cabin. It includees one double bed with NO sheets or pillows provided. There's an upper bunk area that sleeps two, a picnic table, and firewood. - Primitive Cabin #2: The cabin has 1 double bed and loft sleeping. No beds, sheets, pillows or blankets are provided in the loft. The cabin has no electricity or no water inside but does have a flushing toilet near and a hand wash station nearby. - German Haus - a private rustic studio cabin with Queen bed, a twin daybed, kitchenette, 2 chairs, kitchen table, and shower bathroom. It's great for the outdoor type person. - The Kite Suite: This is a family suite with King bed bedroom, a queen bed with overhead single sleeper, and available rollaway. It has a full bathroom, WIFI, TV, kitchenette with MW, coffee pot, toaster oven, sink, and utensils. - The Oriental Suite: This suite has a Queen bed and single daybed sleeper with a jacuzzi tub bathroom for single/double occupancy. Has a sitting room, wide screen TV, Internet TV, kitchenette, fridge, MW, toaster oven, full kitchen utensils, and coffee pot. Overlooks River and woods.
