Cabins near Columbia guide

Overview

At the heart of Missouri lies Columbia, an energetic college town home to the University of Missouri. Once you've perused the eclectic mix of shops downtown and caught a film at Ragtag Cinema, head out into nature, where you can scramble under a natural bridge in Rock Bridge Memorial State Park or paddle the Finger Lakes. Bicyclists can connect to the Katy Trail for a day trip to Rocheport, an especially scenic portion of this rail-to-trail project. No matter what adventure you choose, a cabin rental can provide a good basecamp with amenities ranging from full kitchens and rustic details to wifi and modern bedding. Summer in Missouri may be hot and humid, and winter can be frigid, with occasional snow, so whether you're escaping a winter chill or a hot summer day, you'll feel cozy in a cabin. Many cabin rentals offer views of the farmlands and forests of mid-Missouri, though you may luck out and find a waterfront site on a pond or clear creek.
