I loved van camping a Dolly’s God’s country. . There was quite a bit of room for each campsite. The common area had everything one would need for a great evening fire. There were 3 white tail deer that went by our camp. Edge

1 night at Missoula Rest And Relaxation

I wound up here very last minute due to a winter storm interrupting my route - this was an excellent place to stop. It’s close to the town, the river is beautiful, and the hosts are very kind and helpful. I got great recommendations for places to go and advice on the local weather. I stayed here as a solo female traveler and felt very safe and comfortable. If you’re in the area I highly recommend this as a place to stay :)

Great view and local wildlife. This is my second time camping at this HipCamp. The accommodations are nice with electric hookup, a nice fire pit and a large outhouse.

Weekend Trip to Bitterroot Panorama

We thought the place was an amazing setup. Being able to pull through with are 30 ft. Camper was a breeze since James has it set up like a round about. He was a great host and very accommodating. His place has beautiful mountain views and even though his house is within sight it still felt secluded. If you're wondering if you should pick up some add one's I would highly recommend it because it was extremely delicious!!

We had a really nice stay at Robin's Place! The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and the location is super convenient if you’re visiting the area. The best feature is the river access. We were there in winter, but I bet it's amazing in nice weather. Robin and her husband were warm and welcoming, making sure we felt at home. It’s also a great place for dogs—our pups were very happy here! All in all, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’d happily recommend it to others visiting Missoula

Weekend Trip to Clark Fork Hidaway

Booked last minute and got a fast approval. We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding it. GPS was accurate but it is so dark here( zero light pollution)we still could not see the driveway. Recommend better lighting and a hicamp sign. Host was quick to call us though and talk us in. Once set up we went straight to bed and left before daylight so afraid we cannot review it fully. It is by a creek and has a firepit though. Has water and electricity plus firewood is furnished. 👍Other reviews mentioned a train and this is true but we still slept very well! We liked too that it was so close to our route and level.

Hard to say what was more impressive, the views or the hospitality. It was the little things, like super clear directions, well-groomed site, the little lanterns. Easily the best HipCamp experience I’ve had yet. I will certainly be back.

I am one mile from Hwy 93 so you can hear traffic noise sometimes. Planes do fly over once in awhile as well. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart. This property is so beautiful and peaceful no lights out here at night, just moonlight when it's out. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle. The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that comes around. RV camp spots on the east and west end of the pond. Camp spot out by the wooden round pen on the west side. Learn more about this land: Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, wildlife. Spring fed pond on property for fishing, swimming and adventures. My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. So as the summer goes on the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.

Please be advised to follow these directions to the campsite grounds, the google map takes you to the wrong entrance and we have had issues getting this changed. As you come into Drummond, head to Helmville road , turn right and follow this road that parallels I-90, then turn left onto highway 271 to Helmville. So follow highway 271 towards Helmville , at 13.1 miles , turn right onto Weaver hill crossing a cattle guard. Go up the hill and follow the road and keep to the left of the first Y and continue on for 3.5 miles until you come to the second large Y and stay to the right of it. Continue on for another 3.2 miles un til you see a green chimney lakes sign and turn right and continue in on to our driveway! There is no cell service up here , so you will have to connect to our Wi-Fi when you arrive, to be able to call or text out. Please use your trip counter in your car or truck to help you with mileage. Remember to save these directions before you loose cell service!😊

Darlows is a wonderful grocery store including full service deli, beer, wine, and liquor and five churches of different denominations. The Sanctuary is up the canyon mountain via Pardee Creek Road. We are backed up into 50K of USFS acreage! The Clark Fork River on edge of property provides boating, rafting, and fishing fun! Our property plus USFS property provides miles of hiking, ATV, horseback, motorcross roads and trails. There are three cabins to rent, 25 RV dry spaces, 4 Group areas, and can accommodate over 200 tents! Heat in the winter is wood stove. It is too special not to share. Since I am still hard at work, I hope to find like minded adventureists to appreciate this small space on their way to their next adventure. . . Learn more about this land: From our 1/2 ac campsite you can access Lake Inez via kayak, paddleboard and canoe. Put in at the dock or launch at the Lake Inez boat ramp and tie up at our dock. Please plan to park and hitchlock your boat trailer either at the launch or Beargrass Ln pullout off hwy 83. There is VERY limited space to turn around once you cross the bridge to the camp. You can hike, trail run and mountain bike from the campsite. Follow Loon lane north and up the hill. The second Forest Service gate (Westlake Way) opens up to the road network of the West Fork Clearwater river road system. There are both gated and open logging roads. Be aware and prepared for bear (Grizzly and black bear), mountain lion, deer, elk, and chipmunk encounters. Songbirds, loons, eagles, osprey, jays and many other migratory birds that migrate the flyway. You may also see otters and beaver. The beaver lodge is on the SE end of Lake Inez. At the Northeast side of the lake is an active blue heron rookery. Follow Morrel Creek Road at Seeley Lake you can hike and Mt Bike the nordic ski trails and logging roads. Be prepared and aware for bear, elk and moose encounters. Follow Morrell Creek Rd to the Morrel Creek Falls trailhead or the Pyramid Peak trailhead. Across the highway from Beargrass Ln is Camp Creek road. It links you to miles of open and gated logging roads that to the south, connect to the Morrell Creek road, Seeley Lake Nordic Trails and O.S.C.R. nordic race course . ( as a nordic skier I just had to throw that in) :)
