PLEASE READ:
Sorry but Absolutely NO discharging firearms or fireworks. They are prohibited due to dry fields, other campers and neighboring houses. Side note there is a gun range a few miles away!
If needed Propane Firepits and easy pull wagons will be provided for each site except site 4 at the moment. You just need to bring a BBQ propane tank to hook up to the firepit. One full tank usually 4-5 nights. The store a couple miles away sells and exchanges them. You will park by the road, grab a cart (if needed) in the red shed and walk through the field (mowed walkway) to your specific site. When leaving please be respectful for the next campers. Make sure the site is clean, Firepit cover put back on and all garbage taken out with you. Please put carts back in the shed for the next hipcampers to use. Thanks!

To get to your reserved site just walk to the left around the red shed and follow the mowed path through the field until it splits into three paths. Site one is to the left. Site 2 the middle path. Site 3 is the right path.
Even though we haven't seen any there are bears in New Hampshire so:

Campers Welcome to The Wolf Swamp.

The property used to be part of the old Johanson farm, it was a 200 acre dairy farm a hundred years ago. when the State put in the highway (I-93) in 1961 it split the farmland in half.
The old stagecoach road which runs through the property from Canterbury Station to Northfield Station is now part of the main trails system.
The early Pony Express riders dubbed the swamp on the land "Wolf Swamp", because there were many reports of riders seeing Wolves in the Swamp.
The property is very open, although the sites are very spread out and secluded
for ultimate privacy. There are several great hiking trails on the property, also used by local mountain bikers and Horseback Riding. Occasionally there will be
an ATV or Dirt Bike passing through. We are located in the Heart of the local Trail system.
There are several great places to swim and Kayak or Canoe literally around the
corner. There are also lots of great local attractions close by, many that have
Farm Stores, Shops, Homemade Gifts, Breads, Pies, Cheeses and we even have a few local Breweries. There is something for everyone, just ask and we will
point you in the Right Direction.

Souhegan Shores

20Sep2024 Update: The river is near record lows but that exposes the sandbars for setting up your beach chairs and there is ample depth for the swimming hole below the rapids. This also means the fish have congregated to the deeper pools and you can see them from the trail above the riverbank. The wood chip road in to both sites is dry and easily passable by passenger vehicle. If we get a deluge of rain from a hurricane this season, please check in with your host to ensure your type of vehicle won't have difficulty getting out of the site.

Site-1 is located under the trees adjacent to a 3 acre meadow and Christmas Tree farm. Camp near the bank of the Souhegan River in the shade of white pine, shag bark hickory and blue birch while listening to the river tumble over the ledges upstream. In season, enjoy the swimming hole 100 feet from your campsite. On the other side of the privacy fence is a pasture where two horses graze. If you don't like friendly dogs then you'll be better off on site 2 where we can better keep our dog Wilson from dropping in to visit. He loves people too much not to want to greet folks on Site 1.
Site-2 is located at the farthest most downstream end of the property and from mid-May to mid-October it is totally private. You'll see nothing from your site except for trees and the river. If you or your dog don't like other dogs, this is the site you want. Still no guarantee Wilson won't visit you, but it's easier to keep Wilson away from this corner of the property. The other side of the river is town conservation land so the only people you're likely to see will be passing by in kayaks or on paddleboards.
In the dry season, both sites are a great place to start a float trip and you'll likely have the next 1.5 miles all to yourself since the rapids up stream become unpassable in July and August.
If planning a winter trip, just check ahead to ensure your host has finished plowing the access road. If southern NH gets really clobbered with snow, check with your host about the possibility of constructing snow shelters.
You are only two traffic lights away from the Merrimack Premium Outlet Mall should you need something to do during inclement weather.

Marston Farm

We have a 55 acre property that's approx 15 acres pasture and 40 acres woodland. We are a in-progress pick-your-own orchard who are waiting for our trees to grow. From our property you can access the town forest, which is about 120 acres of hiking trails. At the far end of the town forest is Great Brook Trail which is a beautiful walking trail that follows a babbling brook. All of this is accessible by from our property without having to go on public roads.
There is a large communal fire pit with 4 foot fire ring and cooking grate. As well as a shared portable toilet for all sites to use.
There are a couple dates to keep in mind when making your booking:

There are lots of pine trees and both sites are partially surrounded with large 6' natural berms creating additional privacy. The Property is adjacent to a small brook which is great for fishing and relaxing. There are some swimming holes in the Little Ossipee River which is located a short walking distance from the camp site. Very peaceful. Great for camping, fishing, glamping or relaxing! There are also free local public swimming beaches in 10 minutes in any direction, that don't get a lot of traffic.

This is a rustic site with picnic table, fire ring and chemical toilet. Not glamping for sure, but pretty and peaceful. Plenty of room to pull in a pop-up or camper.
Convenient to most locations in Southern Maine and NH. Located near the center of town, there are stores and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Excellent location to be away from tourist areas but close enough to visit -Beaches 20-30 minutes, RT 95-15 mins, Portland 45; Portsmouth-45 mins, Kittery Outlets -30 mins. Stonybrook Cascade

Welcome! This spot offers a rare chance to camp by a mossy brook, with its waterfalls, whirlpools, glacial boulders, and pools. We are Brad and Christine, and we are excited to share our off grid pocket of eastern forest. This magical site overlooks a mountain spring fed brook. The thick moss practically glows on the rocks, as the brook runs under a thick canopy of trees. As the brook leaves our land, it passes under a centuries old, hand hewn, granite bridge. All of which can be seen from the site. What can't be seen is houses, street lights, or traffic. The sky at night offers wonderful views of the heavens, undiluted by ambient human light.
The property is 12 acres, surrounded by thousands of acres of private, undeveloped land. This is a rare spot, that is on the edge of wildness, but is only 9 minutes from a grocery store, pharmacy and EV charging station. Across the dirt road from us is our neighbors pasture with a changing cast of farm animals, including donkeys, horses, sheep, and pigs.
We are in the Lakes region of New Hampshire. The property is in Wolfeboro, which has been attracting visitors since 1749 and is the oldest summer resort town in America. We are 40 minutes from downtown, on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, which is the largest lake in New Hampshire. This quaint town offers shops, cafe's, restaurants, boat rentals and lake cruises. The fishing is legendary. There are many other beautiful towns to explore in this region, our personal favorite being Sandwich. This area is known for its many outdoor activities, with hiking and mountain biking trails, lakes and rivers to Kayak or canoe. We are only a few minutes drive to the Cotton Valley Rail Trail. If seeing the Atlantic ocean calls to you, we are an hour from the Maine and New Hampshire coasts, with its rocky outcroppings and sandy beaches. You can't go wrong with its historic port towns like Portsmouth in NH and York, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit, Maine.
