Sacred Nectar Sanctuary

11 sites · RVs, Tents280 acres · North Sandwich, NH
Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's most treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose. Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an ecofriendly, Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Thank you for being a part of the healing. We hope you enjoy what we have created here :)

Campers Welcome to The Wolf Swamp.

14 sites · RVs, Tents52 acres · Canterbury, NH
The property used to be part of the old Johanson farm, it was a 200 acre dairy farm a hundred years ago. when the State put in the highway (I-93) in 1961 it split the farmland in half. The old stagecoach road which runs through the property from Canterbury Station to Northfield Station is now part of the main trails system. The early Pony Express riders dubbed the swamp on the land "Wolf Swamp", because there were many reports of riders seeing Wolves in the Swamp. The property is very open, although the sites are very spread out and secluded for ultimate privacy. There are several great hiking trails on the property, also used by local mountain bikers and Horseback Riding. Occasionally there will be an ATV or Dirt Bike passing through. We are located in the Heart of the local Trail system. There are several great places to swim and Kayak or Canoe literally around the corner. There are also lots of great local attractions close by, many that have Farm Stores, Shops, Homemade Gifts, Breads, Pies, Cheeses and we even have a few local Breweries. There is something for everyone, just ask and we will point you in the Right Direction.

Stonybrook Cascade

1 site · RV12 acres · Wolfeboro, NH
Welcome! This spot offers a rare chance to camp by a mossy brook, with its waterfalls, whirlpools, glacial boulders, and pools. We are Brad and Christine, and we are excited to share our, off grid, pocket of eastern forest. This peaceful site overlooks a spring fed brook. The thick moss practically glows on the rocks, as the brook runs under a thick canopy of trees. As the brook leaves our land, it passes under a centuries old, hand hewn, granite bridge. There are no houses, no street lights, or traffic. Years go by without hearing a siren or a car horn. The sky at night offers wonderful views of the heavens, undiluted by city light. The property is 12 acres, surrounded by thousands of acres of private, undeveloped land. We are located on the edge of the wildness, but we are only 9 minutes from a grocery store, pharmacy and EV charging station. Across the dirt road from us is our neighbors farm pasture with it's changing cast of animals, including donkeys, cows, horses, sheep, and pigs. We are in the Lakes region of New Hampshire. The property is in Wolfeboro, which has been attracting visitors since 1749 and is the oldest summer resort town in America. We are 40 minutes from downtown, on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, which is the largest lake in New Hampshire. This quaint town offers shops, cafe's, restaurants, boat rentals and lake cruises. The fishing is legendary. There are many other beautiful towns to explore in this region, our personal favorite being Sandwich. This area is known for its many outdoor activities, with hiking and mountain biking trails, lakes and rivers to Kayak or canoe. We are only a few minutes drive to the Cotton Valley Rail Trail. If seeing the Atlantic ocean calls to you, we are an hour from the Maine and New Hampshire coasts, with their rocky outcroppings and sandy beaches. You can't go wrong with its historic port towns like Portsmouth in NH and York, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit in Maine.

Lost Cloud Farm

2 sites · RVs, Tents115 acres · Newport, NH
We offer over one hundred acres of open rolling meadows and hayfields, lined with old stonewalls lining the outline of a time when fields were cleared by hand and horse. Along your travels exploring you will find deer paths, and wild turkeys throughout the pine covered floor of the forest. Fireflies are out every night with the most beautiful stars displayed that you could ever imagine. As a young girl these were our stomping grounds galloping through the fields on our horses, and venturing into the forest. Catching frogs by the pond and late at night.... maybe with a favorite boy gazing at the stars and smiling at one another gently in the moonlight. It's a place as young adults we could have campfires a blazing and many friends pitching a tent to stay the night! It's a special place that encompasses all that one would want. We welcome you to experience the magic and adventure here with us. We have several locations that have campfire set ups waiting with your first firewood waiting! Pitch a tent, or ask us to do so for you! Come visit the farm animals, pick a fresh apple off of one of the trees. Pick your own wildflowers to take home with you. Coming as a family, tractor ride, come pick your own eggs.. bring your friendly dog to frolic through the fields, or to cool off in the pond.

Sweet Song Acres

4 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · NH
Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Lovedy's Land at Nubbin Corner.

7 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents11 acres · Limington, ME
Family owned property obtained through the barter system. You shingle my barn and I'll give you that property. My Pappy's land. 11 acres. Recently cleared for its timber. With some landscaping it became clear that beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes, concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a bucket compost toilet. A compost bag and shavings/leaves/moss provided. The tent sites are off grid with a few conveniences. Please view my camper rental if you are seeking another experience. Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any.
