Loved the site position near the river. the sounds and native landscape! Although the site was somewhat close to the house, It felt very private.

Everything was great!!! The directions to the location were easy to navigate. The location was amazing taken care of so beautifully!!! Steve did a wonderful job at decorating it with little knick knacks and trinkets to make you feel at home, but the site still had an outdoor camping vibe!! The river roared and sounded beautiful at night. The chairs on the river bank were the best part, to just sit out there and relax. It was cold but I bet in the summer it will be a nice spot to sit and look at the stars and catch the water glistening off the moonlight. Can't wait to go back!!

Kathy was a very kind and helpful host. The driveway was in a quiet neighborhood, but convenient to town. Would stay again!

Weekend Trip to STEEP DREAMS

April & Colby were great hosts. They were so accommodating and friendly. The property is beautiful and quiet. The cabin is temperature controlled, clean, and comfortable. My family spent the days walking around Sisters and the nights snuggled up in bed. We will definitely return.

Angela's camp is great! We loved the ameneties like the firepit and the handmade benches. Our six person tent fit easily into the space at the "Big Leaf Maple"site we occupied. The camp would be a great place for small groups on vacation or on raftin trips too.

This site was amazing and very peaceful. Steve was a fabulous host and made sure everything was in order. The site was huge, had two hookups, multiple chairs, fire pits, and tables. It really had anything you need. Aside from big trucks going by on the road you couldn’t hear any noise over the river as you are set back. I definitely plan on staying here again.

What a cool and unique spot! Steve was awesome helping us get our 40' 5th wheel in place. It was tight, but we made it! We unfortunately had to leave after 1 night but it was a gorgeous spot. Will definitely be back!

What an amazing spot. You could easily fit a few campers in here. We were solo just cause we like it like that. The camp is immaculate, the host Steve was amazing. You do get a little road noise due to the proximity of Hwy 126, but it's well worth it.

2 nights at STEEP DREAMS

STEEPdreams was the perfect weekend winter getaway. We had wanted to go camping but we were having difficulty in mustering up the courage with the 20 degree weather. Colby & April's place stood out to us because it had these big beautiful windows that faced a gorgeous view. The cabin was immaculately built and properly equipped with an insanely comfy bed, mini fridge, TV, and a gorgeous tiled shower. There were also cute kitties around the property that we watched hunt and play with each other. C&A also have the absolute sweetest love bug of a pup named Timber! My goodness such a sweetheart. We super appreciate them being open to us bringing our pup along too, since there's not many places that allow you to do so. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a true glamping experience. I will now be day dreaming about that view until the next time I get to visit STEEPdreams :)

Absolute perfection. This place is one very large single campsite with 2 seperate hookups for a family or small group. It is in trees just feet away from the Mckenzie River. It has been immaculately cared for and is a fabulous lay out and design. The host was thoughtful about everything including putting a bamboo wall around the porta potty. It is so peaceful with the sound of the river. We were there 4.5 days and never saw another person. This is now in our list of places to return. And I can not do it justice with words.

Angela was incredibly attentive and kind. Their quaint camp ground was just what we needed for our one night stay. It felt safe, welcoming, clean, comfy and quiet with anything and everything you’d need in a camp ground. We have a smallish tea drop trailer that fit perfect in the larger group tent site. Although, it would’ve fit in the smaller tent site as well. (FYI) We will stay again on our way through McKenzie Bridge in the future.🙂

This can occur quickly, so we request that mid-June through the first rains, please bring your own approved liquid fuel stove for use in the gravel area on fold out tables. Our house is located in Wood River Village. It is the beginning of where the Deschutes River bends as it comes into the town of Bend. One can quickly and easily walk to the river trail from our house. By going up river, one gets the sense of being remote and in the forest along a well maintained trail that makes a 3 miles loop with many rapids visible from the trail. By walking down river, one can quickly access Hayden Homes Amphitheater, Old Mill shopping and Downtown on a paved walking path. Upriver Paradise is your private, gated retreat with elevated views and tranquil sounds of the McKenzie River that overlooks forestry land. Steps away to your private river access with approx. 150 ft of river frontage to explore, cast a line, take in the wildlife, waving to rafters and drift boats floating by. Included are two power and potable water sites, up to 8 guest. Power pedestals have 50-30 and 20 amps at each location. Both locations have a 50' power extensions(30amp) and extra water hoses if needed. There are two picnic tables, fire pit, extra seating, garbage, WIFI and one portable toilet on site for use during your stay. There is no septic on site for gray or black waste There is a dump site approx. 1 mile west. Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash or confined in a pen. The neighbors at the adjacent fenced property to the east have a couple of very friendly but curious dogs that like to be introduced to any newly arriving animals! When you request a reservation, please tell me what kind of RV you'll be bringing, and confirm whether it is fully self-contained (with toilet and holding tanks). Also, you must park your RV and any other vehicles on the graveled surface to prevent damage to the underlying water system. Quiet generators may be used between 8am & 8pm. Summers & holiday weekends require a 4-night minimum stay. All other times require a 3-night minimum. PLEASE NOTE: Use the property's elevated deck (maximum weight capacity: 350 lbs.) and gravel path to the river's edge at your own risk and with the utmost caution! Owner accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained on the property. Area attractions include the Deschutes River, Mt.
