Molalla Ripple

12 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents25 acres · Mulino, OR
Welcome to Molalla Ripple! Enjoy the sound of the Molalla River rolling over the rocks. Wake up to birds chirping and tall trees swaying in the breeze. The campsites are sixty feet apart for privacy and one path leads to the river with two private beach areas to relax. NOTE, Please use the clean bathrooms provided. DO NOT USE THE WOODS or camp site as your bathroom room. Thank you, let's keep things clean and safe for others to enjoy! Jsm Ranch started in 2004 when we moved from Oregon City. This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had been fallen into disrepair before taking owner ship. In 2007 we planted 200 tree's and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality. From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands. You're only minutes away from the town of Molalla to grab a bite, groceries or other camp items. Also have Molalla Rodeo just 3 minutes away on July 1-4th. You won't be disappointed for a great breakfast at Tammy D's (Mulino, OR), sandwiches at Humble Pig or pizza at Bear Creek Pizza & Pub.

Check out these comments from past guests: "This place was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to come back!" "The host thought of everything - every little touch and comfort to make it feel so cozy and glamping-perfect." "The fire pit and chairs outside were excellent, and the stove inside kept it so cozy and warm in there. Plenty of firewood, lighter, blankets, water & lights - we wanted for nothing!" "It felt very remote and we could hear the water all night, but it’s actually not remote and so we appreciated that the camp was gated at night." "Such a great place!! We are going to recommend it to all our friends and can’t wait to get back. Thanks to Neal for being an excellent host when we arrived!!"

Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington, it is home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River & a swimming hole, & a short distance further is the Pacific Crest Trail. A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River. Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property. Camp Cedar Creek ⛺️🌲🚐

36 sites · RVs, Tents37 acres · Sandy, OR
***PLEASE CLICK "SHOW MORE" AND READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BOOKING OR ASKING QUESTIONS.*** TLDR; WE HAVE TWO SECTIONS OF THIS CAMPGROUND: 1. For creekside campers (campsites named after mushrooms): 4WD/AWD required, pack-in-pack-out, and off-leash dog friendly 2. For vanlifers & digital nomads (spots are numbered): vans/vehicles only (2WD okay), on-leash dog friendly, with access to hilltop barn with communal kitchen, flush toilets + showers, coworking space + wifi, laundry, and gym/game area The creek section from Candy Cap to Turkey Tail and the hiking trails are accessible to all hipcampers. Creekside campers can also get access the barn with a Blue Barn pass ($15/person). You can add the Blue Barn Pass to your reservation or come check it out and add it during your stay. MORE ABOUT THE LAND: Located right off Hwy 26, directly in between the city of Portland and the peak of Mt. Hood, you'll find the most peaceful corner of the Pacific Northwest for you to pitch your tent or park your van. We are conveniently located just 6 minutes from downtown Sandy, known for its food trucks, outdoor gear shops, and the famous Joe's Donuts. Though we are right off a busy highway, we're in a valley so all you'll hear are the tranquil sounds of Cedar Creek's flowing waters and the chirping birds who live in the cedars overhead. The small clearings throughout the property provide natural privacy for our campers, while the barn provides amenities making it difficult to leave. We're so honored to share this magical place with as many people exploring the Pacific Northwest as we can. We hope your stay here will bring you a deep sense of peace, inspire creativity, give you whatever it is you're in need of at this moment in time. Take a dip in Cedar Creek, sit and read by one of the ponds, get your heart pumping on the hilly trails on the north side of the property, pick as many blackberries as you can find if in season. We can't wait to host you! NON-NEGOTIABLE RULES: PACK IN PACK OUT: We do not have trash or recycling bins down in the creekside campground so please keep your waste contained and take it with you when you leave. Please do not throw any trash in the porta-potties. 4WD/AWD REQUIRED PAST THE BARN: The steep gravel roads can be tough for some cars and rigs (particularly on the way out) and consequently, can cause a lot of damage to our roads. So for everyone's safety, we have restricted access to only vehicles with 4WD or AWD only. Please do not message us asking us to advise on the vehicle you have. If someone in your party has a 2WD vehicle, they can park up in the entry lot and get shuttled down to the campsites in a 4WD vehicle. If we see a 2WD vehicle in the campground, we will ask you to leave and if we have to dig you out, we will charge a $200 fee. Thank you for respecting our policies and helping us maintain our space. DOG FRIENDLY: We are as dog friendly as it gets here. Unleashed dogs are allowed on this property down by the creek (on-leash required in and around the barn). If you have a fear of dogs, or have dogs that are not friendly with other people or fellow dogs, this probably isn't the right campground for you. Of course, we expect all dog owners to keep an eye on their pets so they don't disturb other campers or ingest anything they're not supposed to. QUIET HOURS: 10pm-9am. We ask that guests keep the noise (loud music and loud conversations) to a minimum between 10pm and 9am. We live onsite and will enforce these if we have to (please don't make us). NO FIREARMS, FIREWORKS OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE USE. This is not a late night party campsite. This property is best enjoyed in the daylight and we encourage campers who want to take full advantage of the scenery, will abide by the quiet hours, and maintain a safe space for all. OTHER INFO: CELL SERVICE: There is an AT&T tower on our property so that gets the best service by far. Verizon is pretty good. T-mobile does not get reception here. There is high-speed internet up at the barn that is accessible with a Blue Barn Pass.

Zigzag Mountain Farm

6 sites · Tents50 acres · Rhododendron, OR
Located on Mount Hood about an hour from Portland, Zigzag Mountain Farm is home to an organic garden, old homestead, house, yurts, and barn. 50 acres of open meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest. The farm is home to an organic garden, campfire circle, picnic area, a city bus with a campers' kitchen, outdoor seating area with BBQ, kids play structure and hiking trails. The cabin on the property was built by the original homesteaders. Britta and Jim purchased the property in 2009. It had been vacant for a number of years. Giant slash piles scattered the land from previous logging. The house and cabin were not livable and needed major renovations. In 2019 we purchased and brought in a city bus and converted it to a campers kitchen. A year-round creek flows through the property and 3 major rivers are nearby. The Zigzag Mountain Lookout Trail leaves from the property. The property was homesteaded in the late 1800's. E. Mountain Drive was the wagon train trail into Portland, known as the Barlow Trail. Zigzag Mountain farm offers the perfect escape from the city.

Miranda's Farm and Recreation

4 sites · Lodging5 acres · Molalla, OR
We are thrilled to welcome guests from around the world to Miranda’s farm and Recreation. It’s just the kind of place that we want to stay if we were visiting the Portland-Molalla area! We enjoy meeting interesting, creative, and passionate people from near and far and sharing our camping ideas off the grid. You are relaxed and welcoming. Staying on our private resort farm is like staying with friends or family. Me and my husband, Sotero, are from different continents. We met in Portland, Oregon, over 25 years ago. Being able to communicate in five languages gave us the opportunity to interact with people from various cultures, try new foods, and learn about new history and experiences. We love seeing the world, with our favorite destinations being Mexico, Dubai, and Canada. Also, we love camping and decided to create a little private camping ground and farm lodge for people who wish to camp without huge expense. We try hard to make each guest’s stay wonderfully memorable. Owner will be close by to answer any questions but gives you a space and privacy. Please text your time off arrival, make sure we open gates.

Margaux the Vintage Airstream

1 site · Lodging1 acre · Portland, OR
Welcome to Margaux the Vintage Airstream! Originally built in 1969 and loving designed and restored in 2019, this light-filled space is packed with vintage character. Whether you're seeking to experience Portland's vibrant local culture, get lost in the famous PNW wilderness, or simply relax in our lush garden and take a dip in the hot tub, Margaux provides the perfect base for your Portland adventures. We can't wait to host you! THE SPACE: Do you ever daydream about traveling to a simpler place and time? A place where you wake up slowly to birds chirping while your coffee brews over the gas stove. You sit on deck in the garden with your book and kombucha (it's Portland y'all) before taking your bike out for a ride in a quiet, locals neighborhood to get a vegan brunch at Off the Griddle or a beer and Chicago style pizza at Assembly Brewing for lunch. Once you've fueled up you can ride to Mt. Tabor to catch the sunset or Sellwood Riverfront Park to Paddle Board with the locals. Later you head home to soak in the hot tub and sit by the fire before slipping into bed listening to vintage records or watching 90's classics on the VHS player...cool, you're in the right place. What to expect inside: You have a full kitchen equipped with a gas stove top, sink and mini fridge. Please note this is a small kitchen so light cooking is recommended but it's not ideal for intricate meals. There is no oven available. The bathroom has a standard RV toilet with full water and sewer hookup. The shower is a hand held with a propane heated water tank. Instructions for the propane will be sent via video and guidebook upon booking. (I promise it's easy) This wont be the most luxurious shower you'll ever have but we're glamping here folks. It gets the job done! Feel free to make use of the backyard and the screened-in sun porch throughout your stay. Enjoy a nice fire in the chimenea or unwind in the spa nestled in the garden (both available year round). Margaux comes equipped with a record and VHS player along with a collection of records and VHS tapes! Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and towels are provided, and laundry facilities are available upon request for a $5 fee. Coffee, tea, seasonings, oil, cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery etc. are all included. I have curated a commissary cabinet in which you'll find a selection of wine, beer, and pre-rolls (again, it's Portland y'all) available for purchase. Help yourself and follow the provided instructions for payment. Please alert me if you are uncomfortable with these items in your space and would like them removed prior to arrival. In Margaux, all guests are welcome, regardless of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The only rule is to approach each other with kindness and respect. Please note that this is a queer household and it is essential to respect this aspect of the space in order to stay here. Intolerance of any kind will result in your removal from the property. GUEST ACCESS: The backyard is available for you to fully enjoy. The garden, hot tub, and firepit are available at all times (quiet hours begin at 10pm meaning voice and music must be low). Though this is a shared space, we tend to follow the lead of guests and provide as much privacy as possible. We also love our backyard! So we will be seen doing some light gardening, watering, letting my pups out, etc. This is a shared space though we will always give our guests the right of way. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Shared Spaces: You are renting a trailer in our backyard. We give our guests as much privacy as we can and we are very accustomed to sharing our space. On rare occasions you may see us watering the garden, taking the animals out for bathroom breaks, or doing various household tasks. If this is something that makes you uncomfortable, I understand completely but this may not be the right stay for you. You are also located in a neighborhood within a hip city which I'm sure is part of the reason you've chosen to book with us. Some light noise is to be expected though this has never been a complaint and we luckily live in a very quiet and community oriented neighborhood but please do allow some grace for the human experience. Rentals: We provide Bike and Stand Up Paddleboard rentals. More information can be found in the guidebook upon booking. Pet Policy: I have three dogs and a cat who use the yard for play and restroom breaks. If you are bringing a pet, please ensure that they are friendly with others. If they are nervous around other dogs, have any aggression issues, let me know ahead of time so that we can create a plan. The yard is also landscaped so if you're pet is known to get some zoomies, please put them on a leash while in the yard. There are lots of great dog parks nearby (Mt. Tabor is our favorite) that are great for getting those zoom zooms out. You are financially responsible for any damages done by your pet if damages do occur.  Guest Policy: Unfortunately we no longer allow guests outside of registered guests (meaning whoever is paid for the night). This includes family members and friends this also includes situations like getting ready for events, wanting to use the fire place/hot tub, or hanging out in the yard/airstream. We have made this decision after years of our leniency being unfortunately abused and have now had to make a very firm line about outside guests in our space. Please respect this boundary and do not ask for exceptions. Smoking Policy: The designated smoking area is the white bistro set just off the deck, near the gate with the ash tray on it. Please make sure the airstream door and windows are shut when smoking. No smoking in the hot tub or near the house. Please dispose of butts and ash when finished and clean and dry the ash tray before the end of your trip. Additional Supplies: I have a mattress topper, extra pillows, and an extra comforter located in the storage bin outside the airstream. Extra toiletries, hair dryer, and personal items are in the tall cabinet next to the oven. Extra towels and linens are located in the tall cabinet next to the bed. If you need anything more specific during your stay, don't hesitate to ask.  18+ only unless accompanied by an adult in which case 13+ is permitted.

Romantic Forest Hide-a-Way

2 sites · Lodging40 acres · White Salmon, WA
💥❣️💥Thrilling Delights of Amazing Starlit Nights (5/10 - 5/14*) 💥❣️💥 Largely constructed from materials lovingly and gently harvested on-site, the Yurt at Rivendell is a sanctuary of peace and serenity. A place for rejuvenation and inspiration. The yurt began as a rustic structure utilizing lumber from trees selectively harvested to protect the health of the forest. But, the more Roy worked on the Yurt the more it spoke to him letting him know how to proceed and what it should become -- resulting in this phenomenally peaceful and stress-free wilderness sanctuary where the sun, the moon and the stars wink at you through the gentle undulations of the 100-year-old Douglas Firs Trees or through the ambient ether of the adjoining meadows. Our property is located 1hr and 30 minutes from Mt Hood in Oregon. We are located in White Salmon, Washington. There are enough things to do in White Salmon, including hiking trails, biking trails, white water rafting, waterfalls, and paddling spots to keep you entertained for a weekend, week, or lifetime! NOTE: While we do accept Instant Bookings for both our Tree House and Yurt there may very rarely be a conflict with a booking received earlier from another site when the HipCamp calendar has not been updated to reflect that booking. In that case, we default to the earliest booking and work with the guest to see if there are other dates which will work. *Meteorologists project possible visible Northern Lights through May 14, 2024
