I kinda wanna keep it a secret, but I wouldn’t do that to them……because they’re super awesome people. So are their dogs. So is their food and attentiveness! Even delivered coffee with fixings every morning 🥰 The kiddo has already claimed the treehouse with her buddy for the next time. I’ll stick with the glorious glamp site. My kid, the dog, and I, just got back from the most amazing glamping trip we’ve had yet. From the hammock at the creek to the beautifully manicured grass paths that you can walk, barefoot, this place triple exceeded my expectations. All the wood I needed, every utensil and tool imaginable, they’ve got it. We slept incredibly well, and the ‘loo’ is a true outdoor luxury 😂. If you’re a camper, who takes a shovel with you, you’ll get me. Thank you Gini and Kelly for sharing your space! Super cool what you’ve done here!!

BOOK THIS! Walk out your private cabin and down a hill to the left is a trout stream and to the right is a mountain to climb with caves and crazy rocks!! Cabin is rustic and awesome! Andy and Connie are 👍👍! Our dogs ran like crazy! Stunning views! We were so happy we booked an extra day! Thank you guys for your wonderful hospitality!

Weekend Trip to Clarion Heights

This was our second time there, which should say something. It really turned in this place into a great spot to get away and to explore some of Pennsylvania’s Best. Incredibly friendly and caring hosts. My wife, son and I went there to be close to good fishing for opening day at Trout season. It rained nearly nonstop the entire time we were there. Yet, we still had a great time.

We had a great time at the cabin! Gerald was such a wonderful host, it was a last minute kind of trip and he was so accommodating. All of the animals on the farm were so friendly and patient with my 4 year old son and 2 wild dogs. It was such a delight watching my son and bigger dog interact with the horses and Petunia the pig. My dog was off on his own hanging out with the horses and goats half the trip, I don’t think he’s ever had so much fun. He slept for about 24 hours after we got home lol. Gerald’s care and training of the animals is amazing. My 4 year old was riding a horse all in his own, my girlfriend got to ride an award winning shire, and I enjoyed the company of a kind and gentle pony :) . We highly recommend Gerry and his property and will be returning soon. Don’t forget to add some farm fresh eggs to your trip!

We loved tent camping here. Watching the welcome video was super helpful. The creek sight truly is amazing because you can hear the creek the whole time. We had some rainy weather come in, but down at the creek there wasn’t much wind. The other campsites are a good distance away. The bathroom/shower is warm which was great in the cold weather we had while camping.

Our family had a great time at the pond site at Muddy Myst. The amenities were perfect and exactly as described. The property was clean and beautiful. Liam has done a great job at making sure his guests are taken care of, while also allowing for privacy and relaxation.

Kevin was very quick to respond to any question I had. The cabin is very modern and clearly has been updated recently. The backyard is private with a hot tub. I hike the D and H trail which is very close by and stopped at buck falls, both nice stops.

Cutest trip! Loved the tiny home very peaceful. Doug and Lisa were very generous and gave us a flashlight, newspapers, a lighter, fire starter, and made us cookies! There are some nice trails for you to explore on the property and beautiful artwork all throughout. A must visit!

Weekend Trip to Fairview Farms Airfield

We had a great weekend camping at the unique setting of Fairfield Farm. Bill and Erin were wonderful hosts. The farm fresh eggs they offer are great and the option of unlimited firewood takes the guesswork out of the equation. The grass airstrip with an old plane at the edge of the field with the mountains in the background make for great photos. We definitely recommend staying here, it’s peaceful and serene.

Wow—this campsite exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained site. The surroundings were breathtaking—peaceful, private, and immersed in nature. One of the best parts? It was perfect for our dogs! We brought our three pups, and they were welcomed with open arms. The space was safe, with plenty of room for them to explore without worry. It’s not always easy to find truly dog-friendly spots, but this one went above and beyond. What also really set this place apart was the attention to detail and the thoughtful touches from the hosts. You can tell they truly care about creating an unforgettable experience for their guests. Ferns in the Forest

Learn more about this land: This wooded area is 5 miles away from the Ohiopyle State Park whitewater launch area and GAP bike trail. We are less than 9 miles from Frank Lloyd Wright's Classic Fallingwater and about 8 miles from Kentuck Knob one of the last resident homes he designed (both are open for tours). Fort Necessity National Battlefield is 5 miles away. There are numerous native trout streams in the area. Youghiogheny Reservoir is 7 miles away for fishing, boat rentals, and water-sports. The Fern House is the primary camp cabin on the property. Although if someone would want to park a "self contained" camper or small RV on the property we would permit the unit to occupy the area in front of the driveway just pass the entrance gate. It is not within the ferns and is next to the road. There is an electrical outlet available at this small RV or van camper site. We are "nice pet" friendly. We have a mountain spring (when the spring is running) up the trail road (450 feet away). The ferns will normally be in full glory by the end of May to the beginning of October and are amazing, covering the forest floor. Deer, bear, wild turkey, fox, chipmunks, squirrels and many woodland birds abound the property especially owls. A picnic table, fire ring and firewood is available on the property. Free WiFi on the property as long as the plant life is not too thick! There is a mile hiking loop right on the property and many challenging trails in the area, including the starting point for the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail.

We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. The River's Edge

The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. The Season House, one of the two foreman homes, features additional guest accommodations while Doug resides in the other foreman house. Visit and experience a piece of PA history!
