2 nights at Toby Mill Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Getting there was a breeze thanks to Joys directions. When we got there the cabin was generously stocked with firewood. The views were fabulous. Electricity, propane stove, full refrigerator, comfy bed, made this glamping. Doorless outhouse (don’t worry, there’s no one to see you doing your thing) and heating our water for cleaning up made it rustic. The best thing about this spot was all the space! Our dog got to run, sniff, splash in the snow-melt without us worrying about strangers surprising us.

1 night at Frog Pond Cottage

This cabin was well situated as a base camp for our MTB adventures in the area. It was a quiet neighborhood and the dogs had a great time. Close to town so we could get food when we didn’t want to cook but we had everything there we needed for when we felt like staying in. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Glacier Peak Resort and Winery

I enjoyed camping at the Glacier Peak resort . I was alone for the first tree nights and I felt safe. The place is absolutely beautiful. Lot of tranquility and serenity there. The host was awesome.

Weekend Trip to Frog Pond Cottage

This was a fun and cozy location. I doubt it would really comfortably sleep more than six. We had five people and had plenty of room. It’s a unique and fun property close to Olympic National Park. We would return for longer once the shower is up and running. (Looks like it’s in progress!) We got a little lost arriving which was completely our fault, and Nick was quick to respond and help us out.

2 nights at Alder Grove Retreat

Absolutely beautiful, and only a short drive from Rainier! The only two things I would caution people about are 1) The place's address is the Alder Grove Retreat, so if you're using the addresses, don't go too far down the road and look for the entrance of the place and 2) if you go early in the season, the water for the shower may not be necessarily as hot as most people would like, but we were okay with it because that's what we're used to. All in all, an excellent space and a welcome reprieve from camping in the cold

The yurt is beautiful, totally private, and well maintained with a loving touch.

Weekend Trip to Toby Mill Cabin

This was our 3rd time at this cabin and we had over 3ft of snow and it was amazing. Roads were plowed all the way to the cabin and the host cleared a spot for our car on their property. To get to the cabin we had to use snow shoes. The host is very responsive and friendly. It continues to be my fav hipcamp spot and I can’t wait to go back!! Thanks Joy <3

The yurt was sweet and inviting. You can tell the host truly wants to share the beauty of her land and simpler living with all those who pass by. There was a lot of heart in the stay and we very much appreciated the reprieve from busy life. Woof fire stove, well water, gorgeous walks, stars and cozy game play in the yurt were our highlights

Cabin has one Queen bed and a fold out cot under the bed. Max capacity 2 adults and 2 children. What makes this cabin cool? Well, it is a retired DNR fire watch cabin! The cabin is as original as can be! Equipped with battery operated and solar lights along with propane heat! Porta potty right next to it for your use! There is a full bathroom and amenities to include fridge, microwave, coffee pot and air fryer just a short walk away! Dishes are not included and cooking utensils are very limited. Winter sports galore up here right now! Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ample parking for snow mobile trailers! OR bring your favorite book and come enjoy a peaceful restful weekend! Springtime is a gorgeous time of year up here and turkey season is a favorite! Ample room for boats/trailers if you are considering hitting Drano lake for some springer salmon fishing! It is apx 30 minutes away. In the summertime come up and enjoy the hiking! Sleeping Beauty trail is just a few minutes away and you are within 30 minutes or Hood River if you are looking to explore and check out wineries. There are cheese caves, ice caves, Goose Lake, Council Lake and so much more! Fall is one of my favorite seasons! Hood River fishery has been amazing and the fall colors can't be beat! There is a fire pit and campfires are welcome when there is not a burn ban. Trout Lake Inn is a local favorite up here and check their Facebook to see what live entertainment they have coming up. Pets are welcome - please make sure they are well behaved and are kept close to the cabin. I do have my own friendly dogs (Ruby and Muskett) on the property, but they do not have access to the cabin area. Come enjoy the mountain air - it is good for the soul! **No parties - limit of 2 adult guests and up to 2 children. No illegal drugs. No smoking or vaping inside cabin or the bathroom/hospitality room.

We are open to start our third season as a Hipcamp. So excited to welcome back our repeat guests and to meet new people. Come enjoy the Bamboo cabin at the north end of Turner Bay. The deck faces southwest toward the water. This is a family property with the host on site in the main house. The cabin is really cozy as we have an HVAC system so you can stay warm in the winter months, and cool in the summer. This unique property's location allows for many fun outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, crabbing; and fishing (seasonal), birding, bicycling and playing on the beach, high tide twice a day brings in all sorts of wildlife as well as the occasional message in a bottle. For small craft (kayak or canoe) boating from here the most accurate tide chart is La Conner Wash. There must be a high tide to get in or out of our little bay. Alternatively, the towns of La Conner and Anacortes have multiple activities available. I would suggest calling ahead in order to book kayaking, rock climbing sailing charter or....? We are located very close to many amenities. You will find the Swinomish Casino and golf course within two miles. Or spend time exploring the little shops and local entertainment in the small towns of Anacortes and La Conner. You can also take a day trip to the San Juan Islands by taking a scenic ferry ride out of Anacortes. While you're here you may meet our pup Turner, or our cats Poly and Minnie, we also have several chickens that provide us with eggs most of the time. Also on the property are your hosts Jeri and Nancy, as well as our handyman Sean who lives in a retro build bus at the north end. Saltgrass boasts beautiful flowers, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and yes, the Bay. We try to live harmoniously with the land. We would love to share our space with you! Our property has hosted many events, such as weddings, family reunions, company picnics, a music festival, and life celebrations. If you are interested, please let us know. We are always evolving our land to share with others.

Rowley River Resort

The River Resort sits on the Pilchuck River, it's located on a dead end private gravel road. This is one site with two bell tent canvas yurts. One party at a time is all we allow. You will not be renting separately from someone else. There is power for RV hook up close by. with additional room for more tents. There is a CLEAN custom made vault restroom for both men/women with lots of wall reading plagues for your bathroom entertainment!!! Also, an instant hot water tank for a shower for guest to use between May 1 thru November 1 of each year.. There are two picnic table, a covered kitchen area, just bring your own water to wash dishes. There is an above ground wood fire pit. A covered gazebo over another wood pit that is shared with Bruce and Lynn during rainy times. For an additional fee, a wheel barrel full of good dry wood for $25.00 keep in mind it may be a bit wet in the 2025 year due not having enough time to thoroughly dry out. Owners live on property but you’ll have 100% privacy at river (unless you want to kick it with a couple cool cats like us). The listing is for eight people on the property but if you choose to bring additional guest, it will be five dollars per night per guest ages 5 and above. (please do not include 5 and under in your booking to ensure you are not charged. But we do ask you do list everyone 5 and above so we know who will be on property. We are a recycle family so please use our recycle bins but you must take out your own garbage when you leave. We will provide you with two large garbage bags. We ask that you remove your shoes while in yurts. Animals are welcome and they can be inside the yurts, we ask they stay off furniture/beds. Also, we provide doggie poo bags and a shovel so pick up what they leave behind them. We have a camp box that can be rented if you want to camp but do not have typical camping supplies. We are in process of collecting menus from local restaurants and can provide details for local activities. You can fish from our rivers edge but you must have a fishing license and know the fishing regulations in order to not be fined. Wifi in on property. But come relax and let the stresses of daily life until you get back home from being on this beautiful property. Fall asleep to the river flowing!

We built our cabin from scratch from 47 tamarack large trees on our property. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. It is primarily forested and teaming with wildlife. The cabin is about 4000 feet in elevation on Lemonasky Mountain just 1 mile below and an historical fire look-out. It is perched on top of a beautiful large meadow with a 50 mile view that has wonderful sunrises and sunsets.
