The Frog Pond was the perfect weekend for me, my wife, and kids. It had all the space we needed and the setting was idyllic. We loved letting the boys run in the field behind the house and were serenaded to sleep by the chorus of frogs. Check out the Frog Pond! The proximity to town combined with the serenity of the location make for a wonderful spot to relax, unwind, and recharge!

Cute, well maintained campground. The store wasn’t open any time we checked, though the neon sign said open. Highway noise is real, but not campground’s fault & as other reviewers say it does quiet down at night. Great location near Forks, beaches & rainforest.

Really cool campground. Excellent amenities. Site 3 is right by a communal kitchen and fire pit which was very convenient for cooking meals. Hope to stay here again soon in the future.

John is such a personable amd friendly host. The camp store has so much cool stuff in it and a lot of his own resin art work. The Chinook cabin was very warm with a heat blower you can control from inside and a triple lock to keep the big door nice and secure. We were pleasantly surprised by having a microwave too! It was a great cozy spot to have indoor heat for a night to break up our week of car camping. Bring your own bedding for the cots. The showers are also really clean for a campsite with instant hot water. 10/10 will absolutely come back and stay here the next time I'm in the area.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. My campsite was perfectly located across from the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the water was exactly what I wanted. The grounds are very well maintained including the bathrooms. Bring your own towel and soap as a backup when going to the bathrooms. I will definitely return during off-season. I can imagine it being packed during peak time.

1 night at Frog Pond Cottage

This cabin was well situated as a base camp for our MTB adventures in the area. It was a quiet neighborhood and the dogs had a great time. Close to town so we could get food when we didn’t want to cook but we had everything there we needed for when we felt like staying in. We will definitely be back!

1 night at Shadow Mountain Campground

Cute, great view of the surrounding area. You definitely hear the sound of cars driving by. The bathrooms were very nice and clean and heated. I think the post is a little misleading saying max 4 people, since there was only two cots. I only bring it up since I was scouting the place for possibly bringing my kids with me on the next time but they would probably not be the most comfortable sharing a cot. It seems like a great spot for couples or solo travelers like myself. A lot of great hikes nearby and sol duc hot springs.

Weekend Trip to Frog Pond Cottage

This was a fun and cozy location. I doubt it would really comfortably sleep more than six. We had five people and had plenty of room. It’s a unique and fun property close to Olympic National Park. We would return for longer once the shower is up and running. (Looks like it’s in progress!) We got a little lost arriving which was completely our fault, and Nick was quick to respond and help us out.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Shadow Mountain Campground. The owners of this campground were super helpful and accommodating, fixing the lights in the pitch black and bringing us a heater, firewood, and towels when the rain had soaked the tent carpet. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful location! We were originally going to camp for 2 nights, but due to the rain we had to cut it short so we only stayed for 1 night. The whole campground is very well thought out, there are full kitchens with stove and utensils that we used and clean bathrooms. There was a shower with warm enough water, but we didn’t use it. I would def come back when the weather is better!

A great spot located well with lots to do in the area! The check in process was very easy and all employees I interacted with were super helpful and kind. Campsites were clean, and facilities on site/campsites were great for the price. Having the general store there is also very convenient, they had a great selection and fair pricing for the area.

We camped there in March (early season). The staff was really great and friendly! I didn't bring a gas-grill so I asked them for a fire pit grilling grate to cook steaks ... they provided one quickly. The beach is huge, amazing and relaxing, but there were also people not relaxing and surfing the waves instead. The campsites are a little tight/cozy, but the views and time spent on the walking the beach or hiking the nearby trails are worth it.

Olympic Adventure Campground is available to Both RV's & Tent Camping. Our Camp is situated on a little more than 5 acres out of our 18 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and semi-privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp. Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193. This means you are very close. Our camp will be on the left. Our sites were spaced to offer guests plenty of "Elbow Room". Check-in: 1pm-9pm Check-out 11am Camp Office Hours: 7am - 7pm Daily: May-September. October-April: Call as Needed: 360-460-7475 Electric Vehicles: Please remember to pack your EV adapter power cord. The Fee for Charging an Electric Vehicle Overnight is a Flat Rate of $10.00. The fee is handled at our office. We kindly ask our guests to use the nearest large dumpster for their trash. Please do not hang bags of food or trash up in trees; do not leave it on the ground as it attracts ravens and crows to make a mess with it. RV Black Waste Water Holding Tanks: We Kindly Ask our Guests the Following: Please arrive at our camp with an empty black waste water holding tank. There are a few local dumping options available in the area, ask us more about it. There are also some rest areas along the I-5 freeway that have free dump stations. We have 3 restroom stand alone units with running water that remain open for our guests to use 24/7. Hot Showers: It is $5.00 per person on a schedule between the hours of 7am-7pm Daily During Summer Season. Please call when the office is closed to arrange a time during the Off-Peak Season: September through April. Our team is committed to helping make our guests time at our camp a pleasant one. We kindly ask our guests to have patience and to be willing to accept a possible booking update or changes if necessary. We know some people are not, so they may need to look elsewhere to camp.
