2 nights at Shangri La Push

We loved camping at Dale & Wendy’s place! The sites were very nice and felt super secluded. Quiet at night with beautiful dark skies & close to all the beaches along the coast of Olympic! The tide pools were amazing! Dale was a great host; super friendly, incredibly kind & made our stay very comfortable! The property is beautiful too!

From the moment I arrived, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. My campsite was perfectly located across from the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the water was exactly what I wanted. The grounds are very well maintained including the bathrooms. Bring your own towel and soap as a backup when going to the bathrooms. I will definitely return during off-season. I can imagine it being packed during peak time.

I was so eager to camp at this beautiful oasis. Unfortunately I was not feeling well the day of check in and while I was setting up my camp my body just said I needed to stop. The hosts were so very kind and understanding. I will certainly be back as the property is so beautiful and the hosts were very kind.

1 night at Shadow Mountain Campground

Cute, great view of the surrounding area. You definitely hear the sound of cars driving by. The bathrooms were very nice and clean and heated. I think the post is a little misleading saying max 4 people, since there was only two cots. I only bring it up since I was scouting the place for possibly bringing my kids with me on the next time but they would probably not be the most comfortable sharing a cot. It seems like a great spot for couples or solo travelers like myself. A lot of great hikes nearby and sol duc hot springs.

Great view and lovely little getaway. It was downpour when we went, so unfortunately not too many outdoor activities, but the view was still incredible. Overall the site was impeccably clean. The one challenge would be parking. You have to back in your trailer, so might be challenging with trailers a bit longer. Overall highly recommend.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Shadow Mountain Campground. The owners of this campground were super helpful and accommodating, fixing the lights in the pitch black and bringing us a heater, firewood, and towels when the rain had soaked the tent carpet. Would absolutely recommend!

A great spot located well with lots to do in the area! The check in process was very easy and all employees I interacted with were super helpful and kind. Campsites were clean, and facilities on site/campsites were great for the price. Having the general store there is also very convenient, they had a great selection and fair pricing for the area.

We had a great stay on Paul’s land. We arrived later and Paul was very helpful and welcoming in showing us his land and what we could utilize while we stayed there! He had great recommendations and the property has a lot to offer, especially for the price point. We noticed on the reviews talking about the toilet/bathroom but we had no issues. Overall, we had such an amazing stay!

We camped there in March (early season). The staff was really great and friendly! I didn't bring a gas-grill so I asked them for a fire pit grilling grate to cook steaks ... they provided one quickly. The beach is huge, amazing and relaxing, but there were also people not relaxing and surfing the waves instead. The campsites are a little tight/cozy, but the views and time spent on the walking the beach or hiking the nearby trails are worth it.

We had a jeep with a pop-up tent on top and it was perfect for the campsite. Bathrooms were really clean and showers got warm. General store had everything you’d need. Lights and campsite were super cute.

Forks is a small, yet full-service town with banks, restaurants, post office, outfitters, guide services, hardware, hospital, pharmacy and grocery stores. Just 5 miles from the Native-American Quileute Village of La Push and their amazing beaches: First, Second, Third Beach and also nearby; Rialto Beach. Olympic Adventure Campground is available to Both RV's & Tent Camping. Our Camp is situated on a little more than 5 acres out of our 18 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and semi-privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp. Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193. This means you are very close. Our camp will be on the left. Our sites were spaced to offer guests plenty of "Elbow Room". Check-in: 1pm-9pm Check-out 11am Camp Office Hours: 7am - 7pm Daily: May-September. October-April: Call as Needed: 360-460-7475 Electric Vehicles: Please remember to pack your EV adapter power cord. The Fee for Charging an Electric Vehicle Overnight is a Flat Rate of $10.00. The fee is handled at our office. We kindly ask our guests to use the nearest large dumpster for their trash. Please do not hang bags of food or trash up in trees; do not leave it on the ground as it attracts ravens and crows to make a mess with it. RV Black Waste Water Holding Tanks: We Kindly Ask our Guests the Following: Please arrive at our camp with an empty black waste water holding tank. There are a few local dumping options available in the area, ask us more about it. There are also some rest areas along the I-5 freeway that have free dump stations. We have 3 restroom stand alone units with running water that remain open for our guests to use 24/7. Hot Showers: It is $5.00 per person on a schedule between the hours of 7am-7pm Daily During Summer Season. Please call when the office is closed to arrange a time during the Off-Peak Season: September through April. Our team is committed to helping make our guests time at our camp a pleasant one. We kindly ask our guests to have patience and to be willing to accept a possible booking update or changes if necessary. We know some people are not, so they may need to look elsewhere to camp. After several folks stopped by to see if they could park here we decided to make it official. There are forests to explore around the shop and You can access the river for swimming or fishing.
