Enjoy easy RV access to Lake Washington from this suburb south of Seattle.
South of Seattle in the greater Seattle metropolitan area, Renton offers quick and easy access to both urban attractions and Lake Washington. RV parks sit in and around the city center, but if you want something less urban, you're better off heading further afield to a Hipcamp RV campsite in the wooded areas around town. Good areas to consider include the East Renton Highlands and the southern part of Renton near Lake Youngs. Other areas with solid options include Sammamish, northeast of Renton, and Hobart, to the southeast. If you'd prefer to camp in a state park, your closest bets are Saltwater State Park and Dash Point State Park, both shorefront options on the way to Tacoma. Look out for campsites with RV-friendly amenities such as water and electric RV hookups, toilet access, picnic tables, and firepits.
