1 night at Valhalla Tree Farm

What an exceptionally beautiful place- the peace and quiet afforded by this sweet refuge was just what I needed to completely relax and shed my stress. I stayed in the small cabin, which was simple but comfortable, with a sink and outhouse, and a wonderful gas stove that kept the cabin so toasty warm...There are no outlets available so keep that in mind and be prepared if you need cell phone access, I found being off grid exceptionally freeing. The host included a summary of the short trails available on the massive property and was responsive to questions and issues...This was definitely a great find and highly recommend- don't forget to bring blankets and a towel for the outdoor shower!

We love this spot. It’s extremely comfortable with all the amenities Andrew has added. Kid and dog friendly. Private, peaceful, safe. Saw some kingfishers over the stream. An easy way to get away for the weekend—we’re coming back.

What a gorgeous site! Our host was amazing and kind of helped us get set up, and told us all about the history of the place. It was really nice falling asleep next to the creek. We had a few deer come by and visit us as we were having breakfast in the morning. We will definitely be back!

3 nights at Green Apple Alpacas

We had a wonderful time at the alpaca farm with my kids! Mark and Candy’s property is absolutely beautiful, and the alpacas—especially Skippy—were hilarious. It was the perfect little staycation during spring break, and it truly felt like we were disconnected from everything. We also picked up some of their homemade goodies—the chocolate chip cookies were devoured by my kids in no time, and the sourdough bread and fresh farm eggs were absolutely A+. I couldn't recommend this spot enough, and I’d gladly return in the future.

The spot was well kept and the views were amazing. Can’t wait to go back and explore. We were unable to stay because the day we chose there was a windstorm that broke our tents. Even with that, we knew this spot was special. David ended up fully refunding our trip. Booking another one over summer soon!

2 nights at Valhalla Tree Farm

We stayed at the cabin and additional tent site and had a wonderful time. The scenery here seems like something out of someone’s imagination. It rained quite a bit during our stay but we still had a wonderful time. The forest was so pretty and the sun would hit the nearby mountain at certain points during the day and it appeared as if nature was lighting it up! We loved it here and will definitely be returning in the future!

Lovely, tidy, peaceful. Private riverfront getaway is in a great location, down the road from Lake Wenatchee and the state park and an easy drive from Plain or Leavenworth.

1 night at Dean’s Campground

My dog and I had a wonderful stay at the Bluebird site! Nestled in a beautiful wooded area within a lovely neighborhood, it was truly a perfect stay. Surprisingly, the porta potty was exceptionally clean, which was a nice bonus. Our host was incredibly kind, even allowing us to extend our stay beyond the check-out time since no one was arriving afterward. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and if I hadn’t been just passing through, I would have happily booked another night!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay here in a tent, the only thing that we felt could be improved is more signs, it was very difficult for us to find it, other than that we really enjoyed our stay it was the most beautiful view, we had a chance to go walk through all the campsites and we loved every one of them I would recommend campsite 1, 3, and 5 out of all of them. He also provided a lot of wood which helped a lot! We also brought our 2 dogs and they had a blast! 10/10 would recommend and will be returning.😁

Weekend Trip to Camp River Run

My wife and I had an amazing stay on Marks land. It was relaxing, well set up, spacious, and close to so many great places. Just a 20 minute drive to Leavenworth and a couple miles from fish lake and lake Wenatchee. We enjoyed relaxing by the firepit, hiking in Leavenworth, and fishing at fish lake. We'll be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Cedar River Retreat

Cedar River Cabin is the very definition of cozy. With a heater, mini-fridge, microwave and bottled water, it was hardly roughing it. Yet the setting is quiet, close to the Cedar River trail and full of birdsong. The mattress was actually comfortable! It’s the perfect spot to escape the sounds and pace of the city and so convenient. I will definitely be back.

My family absolutely loved camping out on Kandi & Marks farm! They were so friendly, accommodating, and great with my 2 young children. All of the animals on the farm were great and Levi the goat is so friendly and sweet we all agreed that we will have to come back to see him! We had fresh chicken, duck, quail, and goose eggs and fresh baked sourdough bread which was such a treat!

This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then. The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost! Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :) You are welcome to check out our goats too if you want (they're in their enclosed space). Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder. Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. The bed has a six inch memory foam mattress with extra blankets and pillows available. Everything is washed with free and clear laundry detergent for any sensitivities. We provide a small refrigerator, a 2 burner stove with pots and pans for light cooking, coffee making supplies (reusable keurig pods or pour over coffee along with creamers and sugars), wine openers, dishes, and more. We have 2 tables where you can enjoy meals and games either indoors or outdoors. You will be one block away from Highland Park which has a tennis court and baseball field. Less than a mile north, you can explore the West Duwamish Greenbelt Trails. Only two blocks south of the property is Westcrest Park that hosts a community garden, a dog park, and small trails in their greenbelt. You’re also walking distance to downtown White Center, which has a microbrewery, a roller skating rink, a gay bar, a plant store, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants.

You will not be renting separately from someone else. There is power for RV hook up close by. with additional room for more tents. Also, an instant hot water tank for a shower for guest to use between May 1 thru November 1 of each year.. A covered gazebo over another wood pit that is shared with Bruce and Lynn during rainy times. For an additional fee, a wheel barrel full of good dry wood for $25.00 keep in mind it may be a bit wet in the 2025 year due not having enough time to thoroughly dry out. Owners live on property but you’ll have 100% privacy at river (unless you want to kick it with a couple cool cats like us). The listing is for eight people on the property but if you choose to bring additional guest, it will be five dollars per night per guest ages 5 and above. (please do not include 5 and under in your booking to ensure you are not charged. But we do ask you do list everyone 5 and above so we know who will be on property. We are a recycle family so please use our recycle bins but you must take out your own garbage when you leave. We will provide you with two large garbage bags. We ask that you remove your shoes while in yurts. Animals are welcome and they can be inside the yurts, we ask they stay off furniture/beds. Also, we provide doggie poo bags and a shovel so pick up what they leave behind them. We have a camp box that can be rented if you want to camp but do not have typical camping supplies. We are in process of collecting menus from local restaurants and can provide details for local activities. You can fish from our rivers edge but you must have a fishing license and know the fishing regulations in order to not be fined. Wifi in on property. Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes. The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area: 80 - 181 Mbps Down 5- 10.2 Mbps Up

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are outhouses at each campsite. Campfires are allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Learn more about this land: Secluded camp site, next to a salmon spawning creek in the forest. Picnic table seats 4 adult people comfortably. Short walk on a trail from parking. Portable toilet is now on a trailer and at the camp site. Nearby trail head for hiking and mountain biking in the greater forest. Check the calendar: If the site is vacant the night before your stay, you can check in early on that day. If the site is vacant the next night of your check out day, stay as long as you like. Let me know when you would like to check in, so that I can be there to meet you. Any combination of adults and children that can sit comfortably at a 6-foot picnic table is not a problem. Host does not receive text messages, only a land line with an answering machine, (old school). If you need to communicate, use the 425 # and please leave a message. Host goes to Safeway in town, daily, in the morning to check e-mail and Hipcamp messages and reply to Guests. Several guests have gotten lost relying on GPS only to find the property. Most do not have an issue. I suggest that you check with Google Map or another map service to know approximately where you are going. Plan on packing out your garbage and recycle trash, we have had a problem with bears raiding the trash cans. June 2022 just installed a park style grill. Bring your charcoal briquettes, grilling tools and steaks. Firewood is available at Safeway for about $8.00 a bundle. Host provides firewood for $10.00 a large tub, firewood is located at the camp site, pay cash at the camp site. Bring a small axe or a chopping tool to make kindling.

FIRE BAN IN EFFECT ALL SUMMER - mid to late June, until rain starts again. Bring an alternate source for cooking, ambiance, and heat. Welcome to Dean’s! Eight minutes off Highway 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest between national parks, before or after crossing the US / CA border, or to set up base camp to explore Seattle / Tacoma. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from Highway 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. This doesn't last long. Please call us immediately with any concerns. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. Heavy machinery is in use around 8 am and usually finished by dinner time. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. We ban fires during the peak of summer to avoid the issue of wildfires entirely. Propane stoves are welcome. We do not have a check in cut-off time tho reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. With that being said, the 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. They are available 24 / 7 for any questions or requests you may have. The trailhead for the summit of Whitehorse Mountain is just a mile away, as is Old Mine Road trail (45 minute hike ending in 2 waterfalls). A 15-20 minute walk takes campers to a swimming hole in the cool Stillaguamish river for a dip or a paddle. Even closer is Whitehorse Regional Trail (great for biking, walking and horseback riding) built on the bed of the former BNSF railroad through the North Stillaguamish River Valley, spanning over 27 miles. The nearly level trail meanders through the valley, rewarding visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas. Sites have a generous fire pit and access to a Porta-Potty. For bathing I recommend cool dip in the Stillaguamish River. In season there is also fishing, snowshoeing, concerts at the blue grass festival grounds, a rodeo, and so much more.

AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO: -There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to all guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances available not limited to but including a Mr. Coffee Expresso and Cappuccino Coffee Maker, toaster, microwave, Instant Pot Duo Crisp 11-in-1 (8 Quart), cooktop, outdoor propane oven, traeger for grilling and smoking etc. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them! -We have a wellness yurt on site with a Somassage therapy room (package add-on session available to purchase during your stay, message me for any questions or details if interested). You are also welcome to use the gym in the yurt whether it be for early morning yoga session on the mats or punching it out on one of our punching bags (included in base price, not an add-on). -There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt as an add-on. -You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast. We have a small area, but most of it is shaded and right by the river. Learn more about this land: Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!! Our group-style camping area is great for small groups of people or small, two-somes too. We have a total of 4 spots,; 1 is suitable for 2 large, or 3 small tents, 2 are suitable for 2-averags-sized tents, and one is a small tent spot only. Camp spots are next to each other, so not alot of "Wild forest-camping" here. We refer to it as urban camping. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise here, as we are close to Highway 2. Weekend camping is limited, and you may hear the occasional train whistle. WiFi and fire pit included as well as on-site port-a-potties. There is a large communal firepit, but no individual camp firepits, with the option of bringing a propane stand-alone firepit. Small fires only in June, fire ban starting July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are spacing camps out more, we have a foot-operated handwash station, and 2 hand sanitizing stations. Per the CDC, we are unable to offer any potable water to anyone this year. Our camping area is somewhat small, does NOT have grass, but area has bark. Please be ready to be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music to a low-to-medium volume. Please bring photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form with.
