This peaceful home is the perfect getaway for you! It sits on a small island called Treasure Island in New Port Richey. Relax in the lanai, sit out on the dock, or set sail in the kayaks… This home has two bedrooms - one queen bed and one single bed, with a full bathroom. Toiletries, such as shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The master bedroom opens to a beautiful lanai where you can relax and enjoy watching the fish jump and birds diving to catch dinner. A BBQ grill is alongside the house for your use. A dock is also along the water for you to set up your fishing rod and catch dinner! The kitchen has been newly remodeled with beautiful granite countertops, stove, microwave, oven/air fryer, and dishwasher. The house is equipped with everything you need for your home away from home. If you think of something you need or something you've forgotten, let me know - I live next door and am always happy to help! This house is on a dead end road so there is very little traffic. We are located on a small, forgotten island of only twelve homes in New Port Richey. The lots at the northern end of the road are where you will find our community kayak launch and campground for guests of Treasure Island NPR: *The kayak launch area is where you will find the kayaks, a dock with another crab trap, and an area to safely launch a kayak. Life vests can be found in the large plastic box nearby. Take note of the tides, as the canal becomes VERY shallow during low tide, so planning your trip within 4 hours of a high tide is usually the safest bet. Set sail and enjoy some time on the water. *The community campground boasts a covered grilling area, picnic tables, swings, bicycles, chairs around the fire pit, and a small path through the neighboring woods. Lights are strung along the grilling area and controlled through use of the Alexa device above the minifridge. Enjoy outdoor games, relax in the swings, or take a leisurely walk through the woods. At the end of the day, light a fire in the fire pit and enjoy talking with your friends and family while you roast marshmallows.
