Learn more about this land: Our spot is not far off 64 and close to 69. It's a late 1800's farmhouse with an antique barn situated in the middle of an industrial park, so it is loud during the day. Since we've added a gravel parking lot for barn concerts, there are just a few camping spots. Vehicles are welcome. We usually have a portajohn. You can sit around a fire on our property and look at the stars by night (when there's not a fire ban). The Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area is a just a bit up the road. You could ride your bikes there, kayak, canoe, fish, etc.

Guests have access to several miles of paved road for walking and cycling, 15 miles of on-site hiking and biking trails, and access to a huge network of public Shawnee National Forest trails including the River-to-River Trail. Our property is home to the tallest free-falling waterfall in Illinois, Cedar Falls, as well as rock bottom creeks, canyons, prairies, forests, and hills. Cast your line at this 75-acre lake with a maximum depth of 18 feet. Find your sweet fishing spot quickly, because Dolan Lake has 3 miles of shoreline.

Your line might get nibbles from largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, crappie, channel catfish, or bullheads. It's easy to bring your trophies back to your campsite since they're near the lake shore.

Take aim with your shotgun at the first-come, first-served manual clay bird thrower trap area. The trap is open year-round. Please pick up hulls from your clays and keep the area clean. Of course, please use all safety precautions when using shotguns.

Camp near the water at one of 60 standard campsites with electricity. Ten standard tent sites allow for rustic camping. Five cabins have heat and air conditioning along with a full-size bed and two bunk beds.
