Camp Nowhere is located in the town of Amity which is in beautiful Northern Maine. It is about 30 minutes from the New Brunswick, Canada border crossing. It is also about an hour and a half from Mt. Katahdin/Baxter State Park. And just 15 minutes from the Million Dollar View lookout in Weston, overlooking Grand Lake (located in Weston, Maine & New Brunswick, Canada). Camp Nowhere is located on our 64 acre homestead which is located in Davis Brook Acres. Davis Brook Acres is made up of several hundred acres surrounded by many more. There are many local atv trails and maps are available if you have your own atv to venture out with. On rare occasions the Aurora Borialis has been seen. Along with multiple shooting stars and a breathtaking view of the Milky way! If you enjoy stargazing then you've come to the right place. If you happen to be here when our hens are in a laying mood then we will have fresh eggs for you to cook on your campfire for breakfast. One of our sites is located right on our brook. You can fall asleep to the beautiful sounds of a babbling brook. It's not deep enough to swim in but you can definitely cool off with a walk in the water! This site also has a patch of fiddleheads, a local delicacy that you can pick and fry up. But, only if you are here during the harvest season right at the beginning of Spring. So, if being off grid and out in nature is your goal, then Camp Nowhere is what you are looking for. Book your spot now!Learn more about this land:When you arrive at our camp, there will be a place to park your vehicle. You will be given a map and shown which trail to take to your campsite. We have two sites available. One is located right on the brook. The other one is deeper in the woods. If you have an atv or a jeep, you can take that to the site. Otherwise, you will be carrying your gear. If you need a lift, we can bring you back there on our atv. There are an abundance of atv trails in the area.
