Discover Salisbury Beach State Reservation's coastal charm and outdoor fun.
Hey Bostonians, we know the Irish Riviera down there in Southie nice and all, but why not give the Salisbury Beach State Reservation a try? Less than one-hour north, you’ll be laxin’ on long, sandy beaches quicker then you can say chowdahead! When your not busy gettin’ your tan on hardcore, take a little dip in the ocean, do some surf fishing, heck, grab a lobsta roll in town at Lena’s Seafood. Thinking to make a long weekend of it? Good, because camping is kinda a big deal at Salisbury Beach, and wicked pissah of a time. That’s actually a good thing… Very popular with trailer campers, the facilities are glamped up and fairly secluded. Adjacent to the beach, it’s just a short walk from campsite to ocean. Enjoy!
The best time to visit Salisbury Beach State Reservation is from late spring to early fall, when the weather is warm and all facilities are open. May through October offers the full experience, though parking fees apply. Off-season visits promise tranquility but with limited amenities.
