Welcome to creek-side camping on our picturesque 16 acre farm. Each site has access to Broad Creek and complementary unlimited firewood. Enjoy the sound of the water as you relax creek-side, or even take a dip to cool off! Stroll through the wildflower meadow, bird watch, pick wild raspberries and enjoy views of our orchards. Local places to visit include: Susquehanna State park, Rocks State Park and Eden Mill Nature Center. Local breweries Falling Branch and Slate Farm are both within 5 miles and are a must visit. A few ground rules: -Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs. We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!) - OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. You can sleep in your vehicle, and hang in the camping area, but not both in the same place. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there. No exceptions! It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. -This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups or partying allowed. -This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers. - Lastly, please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is our home and we are sharing our place as a small source of additional income. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property. You can enjoy the following on our sites: - Free, unlimited wood for your campfires. Each site comes with a fire ring. - Seating arrangements (picnic table, wrought iron loungers and chairs and wood benches). - Charming outhouse situated over a septic certified holding tank with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

You'll see lots of growing fruit trees in our developing orchard and we are happy to share our vision for this beautiful land! There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. We are are a great stopping point for cyclists enjoying the area. It's a short drive to downtown Phoenixville with some of the best breweries around. Phoenixville is home to a great farmers market on Saturday mornings and numerous festivals. Also, close-by is the lovely quaint village of Kimberton, home of the best organic grocery store and many opportunities for hiking and small farms.

Ironwood Trail & Private Campground

     It took seven years to carve this winding trail and two-level scenic  campsite into the wooded hill behind our home.  Now completed, I feel inspired to share their solitude and beauty with others who will appreciate it. From the top of a steep drive, a brief but precipitous hike leads you high up very quickly through a mature forest to some steps that lead the first of two camping locations leveled within clefts of rocks forming a pair of overlooks. A soft, level campsite awaits you there under a canopy of trees where you will find everything you'll need for a small-scale deep forest outing.      The lower level either stands alone (1-2 persons) or serves as a base camp for the Northwest Expansion area (3-4 persons) a very short hike away.  (Please inquire about additional campers.) The expansion features a roomy 13 x 15ft groomed tenting surface, a stone fire ring with steel fire pit, and plenty of extra space to spread out.  It provides an additional layer of privacy and a (leaf-permitting) northwest view that usually includes a sunset.      [Note: Reservations include use of both the lower level and the upper Northwest Expansion camping areas.  Keep in mind that the technical nature of the trail and terrain makes it unsuitable for most children under 10 years old.]      Hundreds of feet away, there are a few homes residing below the camps, but you are high enough above the world below to enjoy a sense of separation from it.  Were these camping areas part of any state or commercial campground in Pennsylvania they would easily be among the best tenting sites in the state.  Even among Hipcamps we were awarded a top-ten rating in 2018 and 2019+ - and we've improved since then. People love it here.       Guests will find a huge, well-stocked chest of supplies at the lower level to furnish virtually any extra thing(s) that may help you camp in comfort, from a Coleman cookstove and table, an air pump, a kettle, a 8x10 tarp, plates and cups and cutlery-there's even a Scrabble game and playing cards. You get the idea.  ** We ask our guests to arrive prepared with their own supplies and to use the supply box as a backup for items that may have been forgotten or to fill in for things they do not want to purchase for a single outing.** (Please do not depend solely on the camp supplies to meet ALL of your camping needs!)  We took items on most camping lists and tried to have them waiting in the box so you can visit without worrying about forgetting anything.        Firewood bundles can be purchased at any time during your stay. We try to keep an abundant supply in a woodpile at the trailhead that you purchase as needed via cash, Paypal or Venmo.  Wood can easily be gathered, there are even hatchets and hand saws in the supply box for cutting fallen branches down to size.  We also provide a two-person hammock, plastic Adirondack chairs, battery powered lanterns, citronella torches, etc.  Cell chargers and jugs of drinking water are available upon request.           The woods are teeming with resident species of woodpeckers, owls, warblers and more, and vultures and hawks and can almost always be seen riding thermals overhead. If you're lucky the turkeys will come to roost in the woods above the area as they often do. The best part is that no one else will know you are up there.      In addition to overnight stays, daytime and evening hours are available too for morning bird walks, lunch breaks, herbal retreats, sunset cookouts--whatever guests might imagine doing in the privacy of the outdoors. Tree climbing and treetop camping are welcome and encouraged for anyone looking for a good place to hang their gear and enjoy the view.  There are scores of great campsites waiting to be discovered up there for experienced and responsible climbers.      Please check out our reviews for more relevant details and feedback from our guests.  We hope to see you here sometime soon!

We are an active dairy farm in the rolling hills of Berks County, Pennsylvania. We take awesome sunrises and great star gazing for granted around here! Campsites are a 10-minute walk from the farm where all are welcome to interact with the animals or take a try at milking a cow. After all, you need milk and cream for breakfast!Its a ten minute drive to Blue Marsh Lake for Fishing, Biking, Hiking and Swimming. Its a 5 minute walk up to our Dairy Farm where you can visit with the cows and baby calves. There is a very nice view of Weiser's mountain. This site doesn't have any extra shelter and is only for tent camping.  There is a total of 4 listings in the one acre courtyard. The water source is shared by other people and also the port potty is shared with courtyard #3.

Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are Arabs followed by Thoroughbreds and 4 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and Mss. Moo our beautiful cow. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Pitch your tent along Irish Creek under a canopy of Maples at Mystic Hollow. Irish Creek, which is a stream, is a tributary to the Schuylkill River. Site are a 5 minute walk from main house. The land is flat for walking to the camping area. A slight bit bumpy in a small area. I can manage just fine in flip flops but I did want to provide the information if anyone would be using a wheelchair. There is also a small bridge that goes over a small strip of wetlands. Fire rings are included. Tables can be provided. Just let us know ahead of time. I can haul your gear to your spot with tractor and wagon if needed. I have electric available. There is a port-a-potty close by. Showers and bathrooms are in the main house. Please let us know in advance if you would like to use them. Open fire cooking grills can be provided if needed. I have a sink set up for washing dishes, etc.. The fresh water is from our well located on the property. We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if we are not at full capacity. Just let us know ahead of time if you want to check in or out earlier or later. We allow dogs. They must be on leashes unless they are friendly and play well with others. You must clean up your dog's poop! No exceptions! We are 5 minutes from the Schuylkill River. 10 minutes from Ontelaunee Lake. 15 minutes from Blue Marsh. 15 minutes from the Appalacian Trail. Trail heads nearby would be Port Clinton, Hamburg, Bernville, Bethel, Blue Rocks, Kempton... 20 minutes from Hawk Mountain. We are an hour from Jim Thorpe. There are several wineries in the area including Long Trout Winery where wine is cool and hippy chicks rule! My favorite! Lots of wildlife in the area. Expect to hear owls, blue herring, cows, goats, chickens, horses, hawks, eagles, dogs, racoons and coyotes. There is a good chance of being visited by racoons at night if your food isn't stored away properly. I do have a few coolers if needed. Also, the deer may walk past in the middle of the night as well. We do also get wild turkey during different times of the year. Hiking, kayaking, tubing, fishing, mountain biking, bike trails, etc... all nearby. Sadly there are no fish in Irish Creek worth catching. The Crayfish are! Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions. 420 friendly. LGBTQ friendly. If you are coming from out of state: Pennsylvania has a quarantine order for untreated firewood entering the state to protect its forests from invasive species. Firewood must be kiln dried, heat treated, fumigated, or USDA certified to enter the state. However, commercially imported wood that has been heat-treated according to USDA regulations typically doesn't fall under these bans.

Lots of wooded areas, trails, rock outcroppings and beautiful scenery. The entrance to the park is through our farm gate near Site 2 and then down a trail. There is an indoor powder room with flushing toilet and sink for campers to use and a small camp shop. Wood is available for purchase. We are located 5 minutes from the hospital, 10 minutes from grocery stores, 30 minutes to Amish country and Longwood Gardens. Hopewell Furnace, St. Peter's village, Daniel Boone homestead, Historic Springton Manor, Marsh Creek Park and lake are all nearby. Six years later, the first tree was sold and since then, the farm has expanded its operations to Bernville, Pa. Camp on our 16 acre Christmas tree farm in an Amish neighbors with horses. Within 30 minute drive to Hershey park, Mt Gretna , Lebanon, Lancaster, Harrisburg, York. Enjoy hiking and biking trails nearby and the many attractions. We have excellent cell reception on our farm. Great view for star gazing and sunsets. Firewood available for purchase. We have a stone parking lot for RV campers Tent campers can set up in the trees and lanes. An outdoor portable toilet is available and water is available at an outside spigot. We are open January through Mid November. We have 6 sites available with fire pits. You are able to drive and park next to the site. Sites are available first come first served. Four persons per site additional $5 per night fee for extra guests. We sell Miller’s Christmas tree farms stickers. Our sites have excellent cell coverage.

50-some years ago, the legendary Grampy David made his way to The Red Rock Rabbit Ranch. There he resides: a good-hearted curmudgeon, a handyman, a grumpy, Ywengling-drinking philosopher, the wittiest mason, carpenter, roofer, etc. you'll ever meet. I'm his grandson, a documentary filmmaker helping to make ends meet here by sharing this glorious space with Hip Campers. 50 acres of serene woods, fields, a pond, and Mine Run Creek. This is a place to relax, to get in touch with nature and reconnect with the people you love. Spring Mount Adventures is nearby. The Perkiomen Creek Trail is only a mile away. Crawfish, sycamore trees, foxes, pileated woodpeckers, and more! Caring for the land: please do not collect your own firewood on the land. That wood is decomposing and contributing to the health of the forest, providing numerous habitats for bugs. Note on dogs: we run a dog-sitting business, so there may be a pack (2-5) of dogs that come through the woods with us on walks. All dogs we sit are friendly towards humans. Food recs: Raw Replenish in downtown Schwenksville has healthy smoothies and salads. Thai Spice is ten minutes away. Trouble's End brewing is 15 minutes away in Collegeville, with delicious beer and a Spicy Chicken sandwich.

My farm is just beautiful. I have owned it for 46 years and am proud as can be of its beauty and serenity. Welcome to our perfect outdoor haven, a beautiful 150 acre farm, providing an extraordinary escape from the hustle and bustle of our modern world. Two of our exclusive campsites are located on the banks of the Little Schuylkill River, with the world-renowned Hawk Mountain Sanctuary boarding on the other side of the river. The third site, has an open view of Hawk Mountain and the farm, to say nothing of the full sky view.. Our private, exclusive campsites, easily encompassing about 5 acres at each site and surrounded by the 150 acre farm, are designed to take advantage of the natural surroundings. Here you will find yourself off grid and alone with nature. Imagine yourself pitching your tent along the river or on the hill top, viewing countless birds of prey and all types of wildlife with no other folks around, except for your people. The location could not be better or more private. Our family for years have camped and played at these site, enjoying the river and night sounds. We are a working Christmas Tree farm as well. Truly private camping, not a commercial camp ground. Very few camping sites exist where you can just have your own space, but you may have it here. My family are stewards to this wonderful farm, and are thrilled to share it with you. We want you to chill and to find tranquility, to respect our sites and make memories that are treasured. Because we are a tree farm, we cannot allow you to bring wood from other locations on to the farm. Wood is for sale here and we request a pre order so we can have it ready at your site. All sites have a picnic table, a Hawk Shadow Out House, water to wash things, a preparation table and a good bundle of kindling to start off your camping experience. There Is a shovel, cooking grates, log benches and a neat campfire ring. Potable water is available at the farm and you may refill when needed. Campsite #1 (Lean To Site) This site is along the river. It is private and lovely. You may park your car above the site and walk down to the river and camping area. Short, 50 yards, but a steepish walk. Pack in and out accordingly. Very private, lots of space. It is perfect. Campsite #2 (Dog Gone Site) This site is also along the river. It is private and has the same set up as site one. Park your car on top of hill and walk on down. It is a lovely spot. Walk is about 50 yards down a steep hill. Pack accordingly. Campsite #3 (High Site) Site 3 is above the river and looks over Hawk Mountain and the farm. It is private with beautiful views. Unreal full moon gazing............. Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site. Car accessible, no walking to campsite required. At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Fall: raptor watching, hiking, biking plus fishing, (license required), in the Little Schuylkill. The nights are dark with star lit skies. We have a 1.5 acre bass pond on the farm for fishing, so bring your rod. Big bass in there!! Your camp site is surrounded by woods and forest, fields and trees. You are a two hour drive from center city Philadelphia and 2.5 hours from down town New York City. One hour from Harrisburg. What to do here? Plenty! Hiking! The heart of Amish Country is an hour drive. Biking, both country road and mountain. You need your own maps! Fishing in our beautiful river or on our pond! Cabela's in Hamburg is just 15 minutes down the road. But most of all to do here is to relax, fish, play in the river, walk and visit with your family and friends. There is plenty of local produce, we can give you directions to our local farm stands. Fresh butchers are not far away. Swap meets and antique auction houses are scattered around the area. Yes, you can drive to the area of the campsite, but no, you cannot drive down actual site at campsite #1 and #2. Parking at site 3, no walk required..
