In the winter months, use the hiking trails to enjoy some cross-country skiing. Lakes and several small streams dot the park, so you can fish and cool off in the heat. With three campground area, this Delaware state forest, including natural areas, is a great place to pitch a tent. The facilities range from full hookups and restroom with showers to vault toilets. You can bring your horse and stay at the Hemlock Hill Equestrian Campground with its six spots. It also has water troughs.
