Amazing views

Camp Overland is 11 acres of mesquite covered hills within the town of Patagonia and bordered by Nature Conservancy land to the west. The campsites are all very private and have incredible views, yet are within short walking distance from the restaurants, shops and all of the other activities that Patagonia has to offer. Propane stoves are allowed at all sites and there is a communal fire area with a wood burning Solo stove. Camp Overland practices a Leave no Trace ethic, our motto is: Be kind, have fun, leave no trace.

Remote, quiet spot, minutes from to

The Trailer Spot

There are 2 spots for camping and additional area with a nice fire pit and chairs around it. It’s remote feeling, but not a long walk into town. Right across the drive to Johnny’s place is a hummingbird sanctuary - which is really quite awesome. (They even have binoculars for to you borrow!) Johnny was very helpful, even letting us know we could come earlier as there was no one before us. Although we never met him, we can tell he’s a very kind, generous and accommodating person. It was really windy one night and I texted to ask if we might move our van down out of the wind, and he gave us many suggestions, beyond the regular spots. Patagonia lake is only about 15 minutes away and we spent a good part of a day there.

The Top Spot

The Top Spot is a great place to camp if you are in the area! Walking and easy riding distance to everything I did. The road up is a little bumpy, but I managed it easy in a Ford Transit Connect.

Great close to town but tucked away spot in Patagonia! Would stay again without hesitation! 2wd campervan slipped a little getting up the small hill to the trailer spot, but it wasn’t a problem.

Awesome spot. Fantastic location close to town, but with trails directly from the property and plenty of space. We found it very private. We liked the fire pit and we were able to see birds at the property. It is a very short walk either to town or to the bird preserve. We had a 25 foot airstream and it fit fine in the trailer spot

Awesome site! Had everything we needed. Clean, cozy & a beautiful sunrise. Owner was friendly and answered all our questions. Highly recommend!!
