Weekend Trip to Sacred Springs

Sacred Springs is the perfect camping spot, minutes from Sedona. We brought our Winnebago View RV for the first night on our Arizona road trip and this place is amazing! Gary and Daren have designed each site with plenty of space and seating areas, and the community room has every amenity you need: coffee, tea, a hot plate, cookware, cutlery, a refrigerator for each campsite, gas grill and so much more! The property itself has luxurious bathrooms, a solar shower, and thoughtfully designed sitting areas dispersed throughout. Then there's the peaceful creek area, again with multiple places to sit and enjoy this beautiful area, plus kayaks, paddle boards and other fun water toys. We wish we'd planned more days here to take advantage of all this well-appointed property has to offer. Thank you Gary and Daren!

This was such a sweet find! The location is on the property of the KAZM FM/AM radio station. It is situated right in the midst of everything an active person wants: hiking trails, MTBing trails, a fantastic brewery with food, and the most gracious, kind camp hosts any camper could ask for! Charles (Chuck) and Ryan went out of their way to make me feel welcome - even showing me about the property for all the best sunset/sunrise spots and an eventual yoga respite! I van camped here for three nights and will definitely be returning. As a woman on a solo camping trip, I felt extremely safe and comfortable. This place is worth its weight in gold. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Sacred Springs

We had a great stay at Sacred Springs. The amenities were excellent — hot showers, flush toilets, and a cozy cabin stocked with kitchen accessories, a fridge, and more. We didn’t get to use the paddle boards on the lazy river, but it looked amazing. The site was beautiful, and while it’s close to the interstate, the road noise didn’t bother us. The hummingbirds around camp were a bonus treat. The hosts were very friendly and gave us a helpful tour when we arrived. Highly recommend!

I am obsessed with this place and will visit regularly. Anywhere else just fails in comparison. The view is just simply amazing and the hosts are the kindest people. You feel very welcome to this relaxing experience. The amenities are top notch and you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into this place. Can't wait to visit again!

I came here to do some soul searching. I definitely got what I needed and the setting and host were very supportive of this. The grounds are thoughtfully setup, clean, safe, peaceful, beautiful, and full of whimsy. Clifford is personable, loving, and professional. The care and consideration he puts into the camp is evident. I especially found comfort in the “playground” walking path. I must have walked it 8 times. The “Midnight Market” sundry was a godsend 24 hours a day — and yes you can pay with your phone. You can even buy firewood. I love this spot, Clifford is a bro, and I look forward to my next visit. If you want a spot with lots of space and brimming with character where you can really just be, this is the move!

This was a great place to stay after a day exploring the South Rim. Communication was easy from booking to arrival. The site was easily accessible for our Class B RV. We had a quiet and peaceful night!

I had no idea what to expect, my niece picked the property and I found the unit that suited me and my dogs. Super comfy bed, temperature control easy, great views, beautiful skies, clean. Very nice inside!

This is such a great location right near the happening part of Sedona! It was so peaceful waking up to the red rocks and was a great view! I travelled in a van and this is definitely more of a tent spot. It would be cool in the future if vans could pull into the area near the fm and am towers! The hosts Charles and Ryan were so helpful and kind! They were easy to get in touch with and great hosts! I would stay again.

Weekend Trip to Naked Skull Campgrounds 21+ Only

We showed up a bit later than planned - thanks to a mix of car trouble and trying to navigate in the dark - but were greeted warmly by Donavin, who helped us get settled right away. His hospitality set the tone for a fantastic weekend. Our campsite was tucked between giant rock formations, offering total privacy and shelter from the wind, which was definitely making itself known during our stay. It was quiet, beautiful, and felt like our own little desert oasis. Donavin and Linda were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They’ve created something special out there - raw, remote, and wonderfully untouched. Being immersed in nature, clothing optional and stress left far behind, was exactly the kind of reset we needed. We felt completely safe and free the entire time. The vibe was relaxing, open, and just plain fun. Let’s just say we made the most of our time in the trailer and under the stars - because when you’re that relaxed, everything feels better. We’re already planning our return - next time for a longer stretch. One weekend at Naked Skull just isn’t enough.

Tent camping at Hawks Hideaway was great! At our site specifically (#6) we fit 3 small tents with PLENTY of room to spare. The portapotties were clean and the property was as described. Vicky gave great directions to the location... it was about a half hour from Sedona. We would stay here again!

Adam and Shelley, were very accommodating to me when I realized I had reserved the wrong style campsite. Adam was very accommodating and quickly move me to another campsite so I could connect my electrical hook up. This occurred at 10 PM. He’s more than willing to come out of his house twice to get me the appropriate collection. Nice spot great people highly recommend them.

Please, PLEASE watch your small pets carefully. If you're traveling with cats, please keep them on a lead. There is a riding academy and boarding facility adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders, hikers and cyclists to travel along the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood, a pleasant 30 minute walk through lush riparian area. Hawks Hideaway is a family owned property, occupied by a 3rd and 4th generation, mother-son team. Two generations have lived and died here before us and we are proud to be the custodians of this majestic property, full of old growth, gigantic cottonwood trees. A birdwatcher, or naturalists dream. Hawks Hideaway is a natural and secluded spot located directly adjacent to the state-maintained Verde River Greenway. First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have two well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard.

We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed. Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance. This is our office, but we also have items you may have forgotten, and souvenirs made by local artists. Also available is firewood, and ice is for sale for your convenience. With Grand Canyon National Park in the north, Saguaro National Park in the south, and a wealth of attractions in between, Arizona is best seen on an RV camping trip, giving you the freedom to go wherever those hot desert winds take you. Arizona RV parks and RV resorts near the Grand Canyon can be unsurprisingly full, but RV sites south of the park on the way to Flagstaff still provide access to the South Rim and its views of the Colorado River far below. On the eastern edge of the state, Lake Havasu offers boating and swimming, while RV campsites in the middle place you near the high-desert terrain and red-rock landscapes of Cottonwood, Sedona, and Red Rock State Park. Further south in the Tucson area, go hiking among large saguaro cacti native to the Sonoran Desert. Full hookups aren’t the norm in this area.
