Just off the beaten path, but yet easy access to the interstate, Gambel Field is 14 acres of grass field with ample camper parking. Bordering on the the state trust land and the Hassayampa River bottom the view extends for miles. Campfires and grills are allowed only in the sand parking area, never on the grass. We also have a strict NO GLASS policy. We are very dog friendly, however you MUST tell us if you are bringing pets.
The field was lovely and private. We were the only ones there. The porta potties were not quite up to cleanliness, thoough. I think the main reason may have been the timing of our visit. I’d give it another chance.
Private field, with a beautiful view. Sunrise was gorgeous and we had the place to ourselves so it was private and cozy.
