Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Closed for the season- hope to be open in April of 2024! Sorry- no infants or children under 12 (stairs/retaining wall falling hazard) Sally is a 1976 Silver Streak Trailer- completely redone on the inside- although she still has vintage charm. This cozy Young rental is located in the midst of nature but still in a neighborhood, and can accommodate two guests for a romantic weekend getaway in Arizona. Comfy Queen bed with ensuite bathroom (sink, toilet, shower). In truth the indoor shower is rarely used- the huge Bath House just outside has a rain shower and shower wand, claw foot bath tub and flush toilet. Hot soak in the tub or plunge into the Cowboy stock tank just steps away. Private! In the living area, guests can lounge on comfortable chairs and relax watching TV (bring your passwords!), the dining table is perfect for two people. The kitchen is equipped with enough cooking utensils, dishes and silverware, pots and pans, a microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar), and air fryer to satisfy your weekend needs. Other amenities include free parking and Wi-Fi, and gas grill. When guests go outside, they will find a covered porch with two chairs and the outdoor fire table has more seating for star gazing (black sky- no city lights). Also, outdoor table and chairs for dining. There will NEVER be anyone in the Gray Cabin unless you rent it so you can use the extra beds. The fully fenced acre will let your small to medium size dog race around and go crazy with freedom!Young, Az. is known for it's hiking, hunting, wildlife, canyons, livestock and cowboys! Haigler Creek with fishing and swimming is about 8 miles away. There are several lakes about 30 miles away on the Mogollon Rim.

High-end Glamping
We had an amazing time at the Silver Streak Sally trailer. A propane BBQ and firepit were provide and an excellent outdoor bathroom (including a deep clawfoot tub) was also available. It was amazing to take a hot bath under the stars at night. The best part was the "watering hole" which is a huge water trough filled with clear/cold water, great for cooling off. The whole yard was fenced and our dogs loved being able to walk around and sniff everything. The Bruzzi Vineyard was also open and we had a lovely wine tasting and cheese board. I would definitely come back!

Place was awesome. Exactly as advertised. Quiet, peaceful and I may even have had a couple of complimentary snacks and coffee. Excellent!

Peaceful and comfortable

Lauren was very thoughtful in making sure we found her place and had everything we needed. She didn't intrude but was prompt when we had a question. The land was nice and private and quiet, with lots of trees and views of the mountains. We enjoyed walking up the lane and going for a hike nearby. She made a map that showed us local hiking places you can't find online. The weather was beautiful, about 15 degrees cooler than the Verde Valley where we live, and the drive there and back was beautiful. Please be aware that there is no paved road access to Young, AZ, but the road from near Payson is well maintained. There's some washboard but no difficult terrain. The Airstream trailer was very cute, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of cooking accessories, tea, coffee, etc. Opening the windows at night gave us nice cool fresh air, and there' a split that efficient and quiet. One of the best features is the large covered patio. We did yoga out there and spent lots of time relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. Lauren has also added a fire table, a hammock, and best of all an outdoor shower and bathtub. Nothing like soaking in a bath and looking up at the trees! Young is tiny and you can't count on any restaurants being open, so be sure to bring all the food you need especially during the week. Next time we hope to check out the winery that's open I think Friday through Sunday. Our Shi-Tzu loved it too!
