Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Sadly we cannot accept any new bookings. We are overwhelmed with the thousands of dollars required by the county of Monterey for permits so we have no choice but to deactivate our Hipcamps at the end of this month.
Hosting with Hipcamp has been a highlight of our life. We have greeted campers from all over the United States and from many countries of the world. We are grateful for the opportunities that we have had. We will miss you all, repeat campers and new ones alike.

This campsite is a natural setting in the corner of our lower pasture. It features several oaks and lots of room. It is an extremely private spot free from other campers or busy traffic.
This site now includes a picnic table on a leveled area, a firepit and a toilet .
Water is available if you wish to hike a bit up a hill.
You can enjoy our beautiful evening skies, sunrises and starlit nights.
If you are looking for a peaceful, poison oak free, quiet hideaway, this is your place.

Since this site is tucked away in our pasture we recommend that campers arrive before dark.
We are located near Lake San Antonio, Lake Nacimiento, San Antonio Mission, San Miguel Mission, Fort Hunter Liggett, and the Nacitone Museum. There is local wine tasting and we are 45 minutes away from wine tasting in Paso Robles.
Many campers find this to be an ideal meeting place for family and friends coming from the north and south.

It's a great choice for families, pet owners, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from city lights.
Follow the detailed directions and you’ll find this sweet, hidden gem of a campsite in beautiful surroundings, definitely away from the maddening crowds. Thank you to the hosts for all the nice touches. This includes night lighting along the path to the camp toilet and a little beyond. Everything was very clean and tidy. Loved the farm fresh eggs (extra). The hosts were responsive and friendly. The Missus came to say Hi and make sure everything was satisfactory. In the morning I could hear coyotes in the distance, the cooing of California Quail and songs from the Golden-crowned Sparrow. I was even visited by a curious rabbit — but please don’t feed the wildlife. I really enjoyed my stay. I only wish I had more time in the solitude and an opportunity to hike the ridge trail from the campsite. I would highly recommend.
We loved this campsite. It was such a beautiful secluded little spot. We had a great time watching the stars pop up and slept so well among the oak trees.
Beautiful land and great experience. The hosts were very responsive and even helped us out when we realized we didn’t bring any matches! The campsite and porta potty were very clean. Also loved that my dog could be off leash, and the property had multiple walking trails to explore with the family! Will definitely be back, can’t recommend enough.
