Patchen Farm is a 6 acre, choose and cut Christmas tree farm. Since the farm is only open during the holiday season, in the off season you'll find a working farm (work being done, cars coming and going, etc.). Patchen is located only 10 mins from downtown Los Gatos in one direction and the Santa Cruz beach in the other direction. Perched at the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Patchen offers the scenic beauty of lush redwood forests and views of the surrounding area. There are several wonderful wineries within 5 miles and great hiking and biking trails.

Wood Chips Pull Out

Fall asleep to the chorus of frogs and smell of pine. Tree farm seems like a secure location, and is quiet at night after the working farm slows down. Entrance gate is a tight turn and getting on/off the highway to the road is moderately difficult but worth it for vans and smaller travel trailers. We found it convenient for our trips into Monterey.
