Camp on the range. We are a small family run horse ranch in the heart of wine country.
There are many nearby wineries for wine tasting and other local activities. Santa Margarita Lake is a short drive and offers boat rentals, fishing and hiking. We are close to the town of Creston, which hosts the Creston Rodeo annually. Creston has two great restaurants and a deli market. We are approximately a 30min drive from Paso Robles, Atascadero, Templeton and San Luis Obispo. These towns have great shopping, restaurants and other seasonal activities.
We offer a campsite with expansive views of open grass land and horse pastures. Site has space for one RV or Trailer and one vehicle. Each site has water available and includes a covered area with picnic table.Camp on the range on small family ranch. We have Rolling Hills, Open Fields, Giant Oak trees. Peaceful, quiet spot for hiking and wild life watching.
This is a working family horse ranch. So, there are horses and chickens grazing in the fields. There are 4 dogs that live on the property, they may come visit. Please feel free to sho them away if wanted. You are welcome to bring your dogs with you. However, our property is not fully fenced. So, we ask that you keep your dogs on leash or tether at all times. There is wildlife that wonder through the ranch from time to time. So, your dog must be kept on a leash at all times. At night dogs mush be inside your vehicle.
There are many activities in the surrounding areas. Nearby, is Santa Margarita Lake with boat rentals and hiking. There is also Los Padres National Park with OHV areas available. We are located in the hart of Wine Country. There are many wineries with wine tasting within a short drive. Paso Robles, Atascadero, Templeton and San Luis Obispo all have great picturesque downtown areas.
