This forested and open meadow property is located on a seasonal creek 2 miles from the quaint mountain town of Nederland, Colorado.
A short drive to both Boulder & Denver and situated in the picturesque Front Range, Nederland has convenient access to skiing, mountain biking, hiking & camping, including many points of access to the Continental Divide.
The property is within walking distance of Boulder County Open Space and Indian Peaks Wilderness trails for endless biking and hiking adventures.
Sites are private and secluded. There is a 20-foot tipi, a quaint treehouse, and a tent site camp that can be rented separately or together for larger groups. Toilet, picnic table, and potable water all available onsite.
We have endless hiking, biking, and mountain fun activities onsite and nearby!
Space for camper vans as well! We look forward to hosting you soon.
Amy's campsite, nestled in a remote and serene location, offers a delightful mix of comfort and nature. Guests appreciate the cozy accommodations like the treehouse and tiny house, complete with thoughtful amenities such as clean linens, a fire pit, and even a trampoline for added fun. The site is well-maintained and provides easy access to nearby hiking trails and the charming town of Nederland. However, some visitors found navigating the rocky roads challenging, and it's noted that while the site feels private, it is accessible and safe for families and solo adventurers alike.
It was a great campsite! Had everything we needed (fire pit, bathroom, seating) and more! It was a little difficult to find, but hey, that was the price we had to pay to enjoy such a nice, remote area. The stars were also beautiful. Would definitely go back!
Campsite and treehouse appeared as advertised. We absolutely loved the trampoline and having a firepit available was a big plus. The site was very close to town as well which was very convenient. The treehouse stayed cozy even as we woke up to snow! Would absolutely recommend Amy's camp and would love to stay here again next summer.
We loved our two nights at the tiny house cabin. Amy was a very supportive host who made sure we were comfortable and cared for, with clean bedding and plenty of drinking water. The property has some beautiful hiking trails right off the driveway. The beds were up on the lofts, which were easy to access but may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. There was a clean compositing toilet in the house and a very clean porta-potty on the property. The house also had a refrigerator and a gas stove with a few cooking essentials. I would definitely stay here again.
Follow the directions exactly. Google maps will lead you up til the directions kind of starts (getting off of Caribou road after 2.4 miles). I recommend downloading an offline maps area and also of the trails nearby, namely Caribou Hill Trail.
Had water and a portapotty and you're near a town for anything you missed. You can catch a nice moon high in the sky or wake early to catch the Sun. Also the dog is so cool.
