Welcome! We just closed on an acre of vacant land (recently cleared) with beautiful oak hammock trees throughout the property. We are hoping to create our own homestead/retreat spot for our family. Until then, we’d love to open it up for the Hipcamp community of like minds! Our land is Ideal for off grid living, RV boondocking, tent camping, camping, and nature exploring. The beautiful oak trees provide a good amount of shade on the lot. No bathrooms or electrical hookups have been installed yet. There is a gas station about 5min away and town/grocery stores are about 10min away. You will feel like you are secluded, but not too far away from town. We hope you enjoy our little oasis! ~The TEAMSOSA familyPLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION 👇🏽 For those who may be interested in the RV/camper/tiny living lifestyle, this is THE experience without fully committing yet. You won’t know if you can do it until you try! This is a family-friendly travel trailer complete with bunkhouse, fully stocked kitchen, nice size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, gas stove, AC and heat, indoor shower, compostible* toilet, and electric fireplace. (2 adults and 6 young kids can sleep comfortably inside) The trailer is not available for towing. This is a stationary trailer parked on a driveway of a residential lot. You are welcome to share the front yard including a tire and rope swing for the kids. The driveway is also available to you for your vehicle. It is fully hooked up with water and electricity so it’s more “Glamping” than anything. You will be limited to water usage, as any RV, due to limited capacity of grey water tanks. We will empty the tanks for you if you stay longer than 3 nights.

Misleading & not private

It’s definitely not as private as the pictures made it seem. Host told us there would be some construction mess, but there was a whole homesite with someone living in it. We didn’t know this until we saw them walking around with a flashlight at 2:30 am which was a little scary when we thought we were alone. They were outside playing TV loudly right next to the camping that morning. No restroom and not private enough to pee in the woods. Overall felt like we were supposed to be there and misleading from being described/photographed as private and the only campsite for that location.

We booked this location based on the photos and write up that it was a private lot etc. When we arrived there was a big tent type permanent set up right in the middle. The pictures are not up to date. Be sure to know that you will not have the privacy you will be expecting. Owner was awesome to work with!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous girl piece of property. It's secluded and very spacious. Plenty of shade. It really was very beautiful. I would definitely stay again.

A very park like setting amongst the oaks. A peaceful ,quiet location. Plenty of space for privacy with other hipcampers there. An all around great place to stay. Melinda was wonderful to work with, very communicative and responds quickly to any inquiry. I would look forward to coming back!
