Welcome to our home!
Welcome to Lakeland Florida; close to everything, and away from it all! As you enter our property through a canopy of mature oaks you’ll be greeted by a host of curious squirrels, rabbits, turtles, woodpeckers, and the like. Continue down the long dirt road and around the bend to your peaceful campsite.
Myrtle Oaks is a serene and spacious campsite, praised for its tranquility and natural beauty. Campers appreciate the secluded feel despite its proximity to town, making it a restful escape without losing convenience. Vincent, the host, is frequently commended for his warm hospitality and responsiveness, adding a personal touch to the experience. The campsite offers ample space for activities and a clear night sky for stargazing, creating a memorable camping experience.
Vincent’s property was very convenient to the activity we were doing. Vincent was very accommodating with supplying us with water for our tank on our camper and went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful stay!
This was a lovely piece of property to camp in. I was breaking in our new camper van and had no trouble getting in or maneuvering around in the spot. Had two peaceful nights of rest as the area was very quiet. Vincent was very communicative and welcoming. Note that gps took me into a neighboring drive but I had overlooked Vincent’s message on handling the last bit of the drive. So pay attention to his directions. :)
What a great spot to boondock! There is so much space to enjoy. We loved sitting by the fire and listening to the owls and limpkins. We stayed in Owl Landing and were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves. It was also very close to groceries, restaurants, and gas stations. Vince was an excellent host and was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend if you need a place to escape to!
Myrtle Oaks is a beautiful place to stay. Vincent is a wonderful host. We only got to stay one night, but it was so nice sitting out by the fire that night. I would highly recommend this Hipcamp.
We love that this place is so close but it feels secluded enough that you actually feel like you’re camping. Vince is very accommodating. Thanks again!!
