Quiet wooded area near well known Lake James area and other adjoining lakes around northern IN. Most of the property is wildlife preserve and is untouched for that very reason. Make your own trail wherever you please and view wildlife near the small pond. This is an off leash dog property but please be mindful of the neighbors on the perimiter. Deer and other wildlife frequent the area as well so don't be startled if you have a few visitors. This property is near the city and interstate, but the woods create a serene and quiet place to rest while still being near city attractions. *Please note, this property is partially started to initiate a full lodge-type space in the future. Please bear with us during our construction and transition phases! (We will get a website going soon)This property is currently quite the definition of "bare bones" when it comes to camp site amenities. However, we purchased this property with the intent on making this a lodge type style of rental long term. Please note: we do not currently have trash pickup serviced at this location, please plan to take all trash with you to preserve the location for the next campers. We appreciate your cooperation while we are in the beginning stages of this property improvement. This property is pet friendly and can be off leash as long as you are mindful of the neighbors on the perimiter. Most of this property is wetland protected so there are not any set trails, feel free to roam as you please. The listing photos give a general outline of the property from an aerial view. Enjoy the whole area to yourselves! *note- no mobile equipment to be ridden (atvs etc,) this is a walking/hiking property only in consideration of the neighbors, thank you!
